Our tour group added this cooking class and got what was easily a real highlight of the entire visit to Vietnam. Some of us even rode out to the class on bicycles available at our hotel. The walk through the local market and Phuoc's personal tour and demonstration out in the farm fields was informative and enlightening. The actual class was informative and fun. He was quick to adapt to our vegetarian requirements and easily produced a delicious meal.

My husband and I took the cooking class this morning. We enjoyed the market experience, it was great to learn about different types of food we don't have back home. The ride to the cooking school was enjoyable, a great way to see a different side of Vietnam.
Phuoc easily catered for our dietary requirements (vegetarian) which we are grateful for. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions, even when they weren't cooking related. The dishes we made were fresh and delicious - the recipe handout we received means we can try them back at home!

The whole experience was awesome. From the market tour to the bike ride out to the village to helping in the garden and doing the cooking class, I would highly recommend this tour. Learnt so much about the local cuisine and agriculture. The food was delicious and the foot massage to finish was amazing. Worth every cent.

Me and my two friends had a great morning with Phuoc learning to cook Banh Xeo, spring rolls and grilled fish with turmeric in banana leaf. It was awesome to be shown around the local market, and do some gardening in his family's plot. This was much more enjoyable than going to a commercial cooking school, I'm so glad we chose Coconut tours! Thanks Phuoc!

We had such a wonderful day with Phuoc! He picked us up from our hotel and we cycled to the Hoi An market where he gave us a very interesting tour, bought all our ingedients for lunch, and taught us a lot about the foods at the maket and what they are used for. We then cycled to his grandparents house not far from the city and with his uncle we prepared a new patch of soil and planted some lettuce. The cooking was very hands on and we got to make out favourite Vietnamese dish- Banh Xeo along with two other tasty dishes. I cannot wait to make these recipes when I get home! After the meal we had the most amazing foot massage! I would definitely recommend this tour!
