“Nice, relaxing resort.”
Reviewed 31 October 2011

stayed here for 3 nights after flying from HCMC and was perfect for chilling out after the chaos of the city. The resort was lovely and peaceful, and our room over looked a river with a small balcony. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the evening turn down service with bedtime story was a nice touch. The only negative was the irregularity and not very frequent bus to the town centre and beach. We had to get a taxi each evening at dinnertime as there was not a bus at this time. Breakfast was also very good and varied with a nice omelette station.

Room Tip: Rooms with a riverside view are lovely

This is an excellent clean hotel that is in a great spot just over the bridge from the main part of town and is great value.
It has a nice swimming pool, a great bar & garden for a few drinks and extremely friendly staff.
Over the road is a very friendly man who hires bicycles and scooters & does a great scooter tour through all the back streets & villages. Highly recommended!!

Hotel rooms showing distinct signs of wear and tear and needs a makeover. On the plus side a very nice pool and fairly close to the beach, but a bit out of town. A free regular shuttle is provided which is fine and works well. It goes at regular times and you can book it and pay a little bit although taxis are cheap from the town. Breakfast is good but not as nice as we have had during our tour of Vietnam.
Rooms were in blocks of 4, with 2 upstairs, scattered through the grounds.
Bathrooms large and all tiled but the colour of tiles - yuk!

Room Tip: ask for upstairs for more privacy

This is a luxury hotel in what I think of as the Balinese style, dark wood, flowers tucked in the towels and sheets, small blocks of four rooms scattered in grounds. Private beach and swimming pool. The downside is that it's 3k from the town and while taxis are cheap and easy (and there is a shuttle bus) the hotel itself feels really dead with almost no guests and its quite a pain to be going back and forward into Hoi An all the time. Still, its very attractive with a bar and restaurant right by the river that catches a pleasant breeze. I cant comment on the overall value for money as this was booked as part of a package but the food was very expensive and small portions, I thought, though beautifully presented.

This place is great value in the off season. Wasn't crowded and the riverside villas are spacious and charming. Staff are friendly and breakfast buffet is well stocked with fresh fruit to enjoy by the river.
Free courtesy bus into town (10mins) a few times per day, go in for suit fittings in the morning, have lunch at one of Hoi An's fantastic cafes and then laze by the resort pool in the afternoon. Hire one of the resorts quality scooters (no licence required!) and zip into town for a sunset dinner at a restaurant by the river. Devine.

Room Tip: Ask for a riverfront room.

My husband and I had a getaway weekend for our anniversary here and truly enjoyed our time here. If you are looking for more peace a quiet, try getting a riverside villa with a view. For families with kids, poolside villas are great for family fun and activities.

This Resort has a small, cozy feel and is on the way to Cua Dai Beach, so that makes the stay much more convenient for beach goers. Taxi rides into town are only 55,000 VND (just under $3 USD) so you are never to far from all the great restaurants either.

Room Tip: Riverside Rooms are quieter

We were looking for an affordable place, quiet, near the town with a pool. Since we were staying there for 4-5 nights, we were glad to be there instead of being on the beach area. Ask for a room by the river, nice breakfast and when you find a place by the pool, take it! Service is ok but no more. As they say, you have what you have paid for!

Room Tip: Ask a room with a river view.
