“Little Hoi An is a Little Gem”
Reviewed 8 May 2013

Staying 4 nights with 5 friends, we had a wonderful stay at this new Hoi An Hotel. On An Hoi Island, over the bridge from Ancient Town, easy stroll to many restaurants or just roaming around taking in the sights.

Very comfy beds and pillows, great bathroom and showers, good breakfasts and wonderful pool to cool down in.

Take a cooking class inhouse with Danny and Rebecca, we had a great time, strolling down to the markets to choose our ingredients for the dishes we were to make. Then back to the Hotel to do the cooking class.
We had a group of 6 that day, and every one of us enjoyed the morning, especially sitting down together to enjoy our home made meal. Quite special doing this in house, we were then family to all the kitchen staff for the rest of the stay.

We will return here again, have friends booked in to stay in 3 weeks time, and have already told them that they will have a wonderful stay here.

Thanks to all the staff.
Only down side, I fell in love with one of the pictures on my wall, and wasn`t able to buy it from them. Just beautiful it was, in Room 101.

Room Tip: 101 was a great room!

Dear Writer,

Many thanks for voting us as:" Little Hoian is the little Gem ". Our "little"TEAM felt very encouraged & motivated with your very Excellent reviews us on the Tripadvisor and once again, we prove that we, at little hoian boutique hotel & spa, could be "little" in sizes, but not in the hospitality in this industry.

We are also sorry for not being able to sell you the picture you like as all of our pictures hand inside & outside our rooms were hand painting by the French Artists and he only painted for our Little Once as his love towards Hoian Ancient Town.

Thank you again for your GREAT comments and we look forward with pleasure to welcoming you & your friends back with us in the coming time.

I stayed here with 5 friends on a trip through the coast of Vietnam. The hotel was definitely the best one we stayed in by far.
The staff were very friendly and tried to help us with as much as possible to organize our days. They also pulled our beds back in the evening and cleaned our rooms in the day.
The decor and interior was modern and fresh with quirky Vietnam touches with the telephone and paintings on the walls. The bathrooms were very clean as well as very comfy beds and pillows.
The breakfast was wonderful with a HUGE variety of pretty much anything to eat and fresh fruit platters every morning!
If staying in Hoi an I would recommend this place to anyone as its location is Perfect and gives you a much more spacious and light view to the wonderful town!

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. This hotel is close to the main town area and everything is just a walk away.

Staff is VERY accommodating and very friendly. The breakfast here is also very good and contains western and Vietnamese dishes. The fruit selection is amazing as well. One thing that they have is Avocadoes, being from Canada, I was very happy to have this in the morning.

The pool is the perfect size and designed in a way where you can hide from the scorching sun. We spent a lot of time here when we were not shipping and eating.

One thing I recommend is their Papaya Salad.. I have been travelling for a couple months now and this was one of the best ones.

I loved this hotel.

We where a little worried about our kids not like this hotel (read pool), but they did´nt complain at all and that's a good review from them.

The staff was so friendly and they where very helpfull. It was a very welcoming atmosphere.

And also, the rooms (we had two) where very clean. I have never been in a hotel room in Viet Nam that has been this clean. Me like...

I would have given this place an excellent overall rating if it wasn´t for the backside of the hotel. Our rooms where facing Hoi An´s dump site for coconut shells. If possible, get a room facing the river.

"Little Hoian" is well located a short (5 minute) walk to the edge of ancient town. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The rooms are well appointed and well decorated, beds comfortable and shower has plenty of hot water, the air conditioning works well, internet is good and each room has a safe. The one thing that makes this small boutique hotel a cut above others is the staff - they are attentive, intuitive, friendly, professional and nothing is too much trouble.

Being adventurous I had enjoyed the breakfasts which boasted a choice of wonderful Vietnamese delicacies plus pastries, toasts and breads, cereals, yoghurt and abundance of fresh fruit, freshly cooked eggs of choice and the usual accompaniments. My friend had her birthday in Hoi An and she was so surprised at breakfast when she received a beautifully decorated cake, later the staff presented her with a photo as a memento of the occasion. It you want to cool off in the pool it is fine but not a pool to sunbathe around as it is shaded for quite a bit of the day. To the hotel owner/s I can only say your staff are superbly trained, and are a wonderful team, treasure them as they are your greatest asset. A big thank you to all the staff -
Tommy, Danny, Rebecca, Susan, and all those whose names I cannot recall for making our stay in Hoi An so delightful

Room Tip: We had a twin room, it was 302, it was quite spacious and very comfortable

We really enjoyed this hotel, so close to the old town and a real joy to stay here. Fabulous room, loads of character and charm. Lanterns beside the bed, just so much atmosphere here. Breakfast fantastic, all the staff explain the food dishes and you can tell they take pride in this. Always smiling and helpful cannot recommend enough.

This is a new hotel but i can see the staff is really well trained. They are so friendly and attentive, from the door men to reception girls. The reception girl, i forget her name but give us the map and show us where to eat good Cao Lầu and which i could go to for watching football. The location is not in ancient town because it across the canal and you only have to walk 5 mins in peaceful road and bridge. Breakfast not much choice but good, various Asian and Western food. The rooms were nice, most of the furnitures are made from bronze, beds were so comfortable. I highly recommend you stay in this hotel when you in Hoi An.

Room Tip: Get higher floor and have river view, pay more but worth it.
