It's a little off the beaten path, but with free use of the bicycles you don't even notice it. Takes all of 5 minutes to ride into town and I quite liked riding through the local area. Amazingly friendly staff that was willing to help with anything and offer suggestions. Large rooms that are cleaned daily. Mini fridge, tv and ac included, and we had no problem keeping the room cool with the ac. Large bathroom with a great shower head (rain and spray options). We stayed for a week and I would definitely stay here again. And do visit the restaurant that is two houses down, it puts the popular Ba Le Well to shame (and is much more affordable).

Fantastic homestay away from the bustle of the old town, but only a stone's throw.. free bikes and free breaky.. perfect. Lovely rooms, big bathrooms and good facilities, we loved our stay. On leaving for the train in Da Nang, they arranged our transfer and train tickets and we sat having a cup of tea with the owners at the end. Very lovely people just aiming to make your stay in hoi an a pleasant and relaxed one. Close to beach, vege markets and villages, you get a feel of the 'real, everyday' hoi an.. recommended to all!

This home stay is better than the reviews on TA make you believe. It looks like it has just been built, so everything looks very new; the TV in our room had the plastic still on it. It is a 5 minute bike ride to the riverfront where the city centre is, just one way going straight forward, bikes are provided for free, even the lights were functioning on the bikes. The beach is also close by bike, haven't been there though. The shower was very big and therefore quite nice. Airco worked fine in our room. Breakfast is some sort of a lacarte: you can choose between some bread and noodle meals and they prepare it for you. The hostess speaks English well and booked tickets to HCMC by plane for us. WiFi signal was good in our room, but heard other guests complaining about the poor WiFi signal in their room.
Would recommend a stay here, but wasn't the best place we've stayed in Vietnam so no five star rating.

It's definitely an expensive hotel for the area. Nothing is close or convenient to get to, and unlike many hotels in Vietnam, breakfast isn't included at this rate. Also, many of the amenities it claims to offer, including coffee and tea making facilities and a mini fridge aren't offered at all. The air conditioning is so far from the bed, that half the room is nice and cool, but the bed is still really hot. The room is big, but with the air conditioning situation, i think it might be a negative. The staff is friendly which is a plus, but I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed with this nature homestay for 2 nights 29th April to 1st May which we booked through external website. The place is about 10 to 15mins bicycle ride off the old town. Generally, we managed to arranged for an airport transfer from danang airport to the homestay which was really okay. When we arrived, we understand that the homestay was a family business and the parents don't speak english, the owner's son was really helpful and assisted us with the bicycles, hot water and hair dryer which was not provided in the room initially.

Overall, I think the price is pretty worth the stay even though it's slightly off the town but since there's free bicycle provided for us, it made everything so much easier. The owner's son was really friendly and we find the room and place nice and decent.

I had terrible issues trying to contact the homestay before we arrived, it took me 2 hours then in the end the hotel manager of where we were staying called them to speak to them as there was little English spoken.
We paid 23 $ for a room which says it has fridge, mini bar, hair dryer, kettle etc but none of these were in there, the best we got was that the homestay was new. However the rooms were not clean and the bathrooms bad.
We asked for a refund of some sort as we felt it was bad value for money, at first all they said is they would throw us a party??
In the end we got. A $5 reduced rate which was fine.
Could be good but the need to sort out their advertising.
It's a shame,
