Spent a lovely 3 nights at Earth Villa; and was not disappointed in anything. Joined by my friend from the US and we had a gorgeous 2nd floor room with large balcony overlooking a charming pool. Rooms are lovely, with dark wood floors and large windows all around, curtains for privacy at night. Spacious room and bathroom; in addition to usual complimentary toiletries nice additional touch was fresh fruit and flowers, along with the usual free coffee, tea and water. There are only a total of 12 rooms at the Villa, so that makes it very quiet and intimate. Very clean everywhere including the pool area and the very nice lounge chairs. Breakfast was included and anything you wanted was prepared to order, so the eggs were hot, the fruit was just cut and coffee just made. Wonderful. Reception was accommodating; really no down side, unless you consider paying 1.50 a day for a bicycle a problem; most hotels provide them free, but this would not discourage me from coming back several times over. Great place and good value for such a lovely small hotel. About equidistant between the beach and Old Town, so a good location in my opinion.

Room Tip: 2nd floor with balcony facing the pool

We stayed here for 6 nights as part of a trip touring Vietnam. The Earth Villa is located outwith the main town centre which is approximately 25 minutes walk west and 20 minutes walk east to the beach. Alternatively, you can hire bikes from the hotel for 30K VND per bike per day which we did as it allows you to explore further afield. It is pretty much flat roads so don't worry about cycling up big hills in the midday sun! As it is located on a main road, there are still plenty of good eateries, shops and spas within with strolling distance. We stayed in an Earth Room on the ground floor and found it to be very spacious and comfortable. You have one large room with a large comfortable bed (with 2 pillows each), side tables, wardrobe, fridge, kettle, cups and glasses, crisps and chocolate bars (not free), air conditioning, desk, table and chairs and flatscreen TV (with some English speaking channels). The fridge has a variety of canned drinks which are reasonably priced even compared to the local shops. You receive 2 bottles of complimentary water per day per person which is a nice touch. The only thing 'missing' is a safety deposit box in the room but valuables can be left at reception in their safe. The shower room is separate and is a large wet room set up with tiled floor and walls with a shower, sink, toilet, mirror, complimentary toiletries and hair-dryer. The shower room periodically smelt very slightly of drains but we managed this by leaving the extract fan on – this wasn't noisy and didn't disturb our sleep. In fact, we had no noise issues at all – it was a very peaceful stay thanks to the comfortable bed and being away from the road. Unlike other hotels we've stayed at in Vietnam, we didn't need our earplugs. The thick dark curtains over the windows in the bedroom also do a good job of cutting out light but if you are a very light sleeper, you may want to bring an eye mask.

Breakfast was included in the rate and whilst there is a slightly limited choice (western and Vietnamese), you can have as much as you like. We tried a variety of dishes and all were tasty and filling – the fruit platter is very tasty and fresh. Soft and alcoholic drinks available from the restaurant are reasonably priced at approximately 20K VND for a 330ml can. There is an extensive lunch menu which is again reasonably priced - we had lunch one day and it was good.

The pool is a nice size with 6 loungers and parasols by the edge. As an open air pool, it is quite heavily chlorinated so be aware if you have sensitive eyes / skin.

The staff were friendly and helpful and offered tips on where to eat and tailors to use if you are thinking of getting clothes made.

We paid $50 / £30 per night B&B for two people which we think is a fair price for the quality of the room, food and hotel generally. We opted for an airport pick-up / drop off to / from Da Nang which was an extra $20 / $18 respectively.

Overall, we would highly recommend Earth Villa and we would stay again.

This hotel is amazing - I would highly recommend for any kind of traveller - splash out a little in Hoi An and stay here, perfect for friends, couples and honeymooners. The hotel only has a handful of rooms that surround the outdoor pool. The hotel is a little distance from the centre of Hoi An but everyone uses bikes (petal) to get around and is probably the safest place in Vietnam to do so! The rooms are spacious, modern, very well presented. The staff are overly helpful and will accommodate for your every need. We wanted to stay an extra night but unfortunately it was fully booked so we stayed at Thien Thanh Boutique Hotel which is also incredible.

Old town is mesmerising, go to white marbles order a bottle of wine and watch the world go by. For crazy times head to before and now (think that's what it's called) and then over the bridge to Infinity! Good times!

Room Tip: We stayed in Heaven room at the back on the left as you look at the pool.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Earth Villa, very nice pool and lovely surroundings. The hosts are very helpful and accommodating, they presented me cake and flower on my birthday which was a nice surprise. The kids loved the pool. I would stay there again

Earth Villas were exceptionally good. My friend and I wanted to stay longer but no vacancies available because it is such a great place to stay. We stayed in villa #6. Our double doors opened out onto a little patio area right next to the pool. Our room was spacious, modern and exceptionally clean and had a comfy bed. Staff were very helpful and not annoying and persuasive (other bigger hotels) We loved our stay and would recommend highly ☆☆☆☆☆
