We found this gem of a place on Hotels_in_Vietnam.com (a great site) as our first choice was full. The rooms are clean, bright and spacious. The bathrooms are great and there's loads of hot water. Good choice of breakfast options too. WiFi works well.
Although the homestay is a little bit out of town, you can borrow a bike (free of charge) if you have enough nerve to cope with the unpredictability of Hoi An's roads. We biked every day and loved the freedom they gave us. One day we headed over to Cam Nam island by ferry and just rode through the villages and rice paddies (not literally, of course!).
The family who run this place are a delight, helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet location away for the crazy noisy tourist centre of town.More
