Located halfway between the An Bang beach and Hoi An ancient town, in an authentic and quiet area, the guest house of Réhahn and Céline is a perfect place to enjoy Hoi An's countryside.
Warm welcoming, comfort of the room, amazing view from the terrace can qualify this location.
Thank you again for having shared with us your experience and your passion.
See you soon :-)

I had an amazing time in Hoi An, and the friendly guest house is the perfect place to stay. The beautiful, comfortable, and clean guest house is in the middle of the quiet Tra Que vegetable village. Staying there was a great way to get a taste for everyday life in Hoi An. The neighbors are incredibly welcoming, they invited me to help plant in their gardens, and then into their homes to share some tea and rice. It was a unique opportunity to take part in the life of the village.
The house is minutes away from an incredible beach, and under a ten minute ride into town, where you can find great tailors, restaurants, and old world charm.
Rehahn and his family are welcoming and helpful, you couldn't ask for better hosts! They know where to find whatever you may be looking for (at a great price) and are eager to make sure you have an amazing time. I would definitely recommend Friendly Guest house to anyone.

Wow! What a great way to visit the Hoi An area. Perfectly situated between Hoi An city and a picturesque beach comber beach in a friendly, beautiful and charming vegetable village, our stay at Friendly guesthouse was truly a highlight of our trip. Thank you Reihan and Celine for being the perfect hosts in your absolutely beautiful home and hotel. The rooms are immaculately decorated and ours had its own balcony looking out over a vegetable patch, Rehan gave us excellent suggestions on where and how to see Hoi An and arranged all the logistics from offering a great place to get motorbikes, fisherman basket boat to food and where to tour. Truly a unique way to visit the area. My favorite part was waking up early and going out to garden with the local villagers. They were unbelievably friendly and inviting. True to its name. All around amazing experience. Thank you! Have a great summer! Hope to see you again.

Room Tip: ask for one in the front with a balcony

We stayed here for four nights in the charming village of Tra Que. As we had already spent four nights in Hoi An proper, this was a great place to get away from the throngs of tourists and backpackers (and road noise). It's located a perfect distance from Hoi An (by one of the incredibly cheap, easy for find, and easy to drive scooters we rented the entire time it took only five minutes to get to the old town) and a short walk (around 1km) to the beautiful beach.

The surroundings are amazing, with large fields of every herb imaginable, two lazy rivers, chickens, and even some water buffalo in your backyard (if you're lucky). It's such a nice village that there's regular tour buses stopping off in the middle of the day to show the package tourists what real village life is like.

The rooms are very nice, with new and comfortable queen sized beds with beautiful lines. The pillows are just the right size and firmness. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water.

And of course, you can't forget the hosts. Celine and Rehahn are amazing hosts, ready to help in any way. While we were there, some guests forgot a bag and called Rehahn from the airport in Da Nang (a thirty minute drive away). Rehahn jumped on his motorbike right away and drove the bag (with the ever important passports in them) to the airport--talk about service! And if all that is not enough, Rehahn is a great photographer and has decorated the home with his amazing portraits.

We couldn't be happier with our stay at Friendly Guesthouse and we would recommend it to anyone.

After only minutes in this beautiful house, my husband and I took a deep sigh -- this felt like home we've always dreamt of living in and we didn't even realize it till we got here. There is nothing here that feels like a hotel (except for someone cleans your room for you :). It feels like being guests in a friend's home. We spent hours chatting with a family who was also staying here (including their adorable toddler) around the dinner table, wandering around the gorgeous green farms in the "neighborhood," saying hello to the sweet sweet neighbors, and just feeling at home. The owner (an excellent French photographer) also runs the Enjoy restaurant in Hoi An, with the tastiest espresso and ban xeo (the crispy pancake) in town! Thank you for a wonderful experience -- we hope to be back soon! :)

Oh no! I'm going to bust Rehahn and Celine's perfect record by giving this 4 blobs rather than 5. I feel a bit mean. But this is a really good place to stay and I do recommend it.

First, a warning. This isn't a hotel. It's somewhere between a guesthouse and a homestay, and it feels like you're staying in someone's home. It's also in sleepy Tra Que village, away from all the hustle and bustle of Hoi An (but very close to the excellent Baby Mustard). So if you're after a hotel in Hoi An then this probably isn't for you. But if you're after a relaxed and friendly place to chill for a couple of days with good access to the beach then this might just be perfect.

I say it's between a homestay and a guesthouse, but the rooms are 4* hotel standard, really comfortable and well-decorated. The roof terrace has incredible views over the rivers and fields, that really have to be seen to be believed at sunset and sunrise. Use of bikes is free. The pool is small, not great for swimming but perfectly good for cooling off in.

Rehahn and Celine are lovely hosts and really make this place. They are friendly, helpful and interesting to talk to and their enthusiasm for Vietnam and contribution to Hoi An is clear. They'll also pick anything up from Hoi An and make it available to you in the guesthouse at cost price, which is a pretty decent minibar and room service!

I really enjoyed staying here. I've only knocked it down from 5 blobs to 4 because (call me picky) it violated 2 of my 5 blob requirements. Guys, if you can get hold of some large, fluffy towels and find some way of serving fresh coffee at breakfast I'll give you the extra blob back! If you haven't got them by the time I'm next in Vietnam I'll put some extra towels and a cafetiere in my suitcase for you :-)

But overall, a really good experience and I would recommend it.

The guesthouse is a great place and best located. We spend in here two days more then we planned before. We will recommend to everyone this guesthouse for a stay in Hoi An. Clean rooms and good facilities as well. The owners are so friendly and helpful all the time. We never will forget the time in Hoi An.
