Owner description: Located on the banks of the poetic Thu Bon River, in central Quang Nam province, 30 kilometers south of Da Nang, Hoi An ancient town is an Eastern oriental classic captivation. With the strategic location on the banks of the great river, with one seaside border (East), it used to be one of the major trading centers in Southeast Asia during the 16th century due to the early western trader occupying period.

What a lovely place! Even after three evenings exploring we were still discovering lots of new streets - a real delight

The atmosphere in the evening is marvelous! Every corners are lightful, making an ancient decoration. It is sad that, the buyers higher up the price for tourists, like for an instant cup noodles costs 15,000 VND, but in minimart just only cost 8,000 VND. Overall, this place give an unique experience travel about Vietnamese cultures in a modern time.

this place is amazing and definitely one of the highlights, if not the highlight of out trip to Vietnam. The old places, temples and narrow streets make it a fascinating place to visit. The lanterns at night are just unbelievable. Would definitely go back there again

We had a tour around the old town, very colourful and atmospheric, lanterns, temples and history. In the evening we hired a boat and we were rowed along the very colourful town, with candle lights on the river and lanterns on the shops and houses. A very atmospheric place.
