We stayed here for five nights and loved everything but most of all the large pool which was opened very late. It was so refreshing to have a swim in the morning and one at night too. This pool I believe was open until 9 or 10pm but much later than most hotels who favor closing pools at 7pm. Their breakfast didn't offer a great selection but was very pleasant as we sat in their shaded garden. The staff and rooms were wonderful with free wifi. Just walking distance to all the fabulous shops and restaurants. Took my guides advice and had a wardrobe tailor made for myself. Had five long pencil skirts and 5 silk blouses made for about $200, they were ready in two days and nicely packaged and delivered to our hotel...Oi Baba is the best tailor with best price. Anyway, this is the hotel you really should stay in....such good value, such nice experiences. You need at least 5 night in Hoi Anh to take it all in! A photographers and shoppers dream!!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights in the Presidential Suite, which has two bedrooms and a sitting room.
Our bedroom was enormous and the bath/dressing room even bigger. My daughter had the twin room to herself (with en suite), which was a bit small when compared to the main room.

The hotel is across the road from the old city and it is especially nice to be able to walk home after an evening meal. The breakfast is of good quality and variety. The chef can make you anything you like, but you do have to ask.

Except for the doorman, all the staff was friendly and polite. They couldn't do enough for us. We were mostly out on excursions and have not sampled all the hotel's facilities but did make use of the pool one late afternoon. Cocktails for about £2.00 (BOGOF) during the daytime are nice to have too.

Can't wait to go back to Hoi An and will stay here for a week, I really don't see any need to sample another hotel in Hoi An.

Room Tip: The Presidential Suite is a good deal if you need two rooms.

All in all this is an ok hotel. You should not expect extraordinary service at the frontdesk, it is at big hotel and does not have the charm of a smaler family owned hotel. Rooms are ok, but the aircon can't keep up in the warme seasons. Ask for an extra roomkey so you can let the aircon run all day, this would help a little. Nice location and nice pool. The break fast is ok, but nothing special. At the price of this hotel, I would find something better for our next trip.

The Hôi An (Historic) Hotel is a great central location within Hôi An itself. Walking distance to Central Market, Hôi An OldTown to see many Temples, sites and the Japanese Covered Bridge, many stalls, tailors, restaurants and Bach Dang Street, which boarders Hoài River.

Cu Dai Beach is about 5km's away and the hotel supply a free shuttle bus service daily to it.

The hotel was a pleasant stay. We felt comfortable, safe and had no concerns. Staff were pleasant and helpful along the way. We stayed in a Junior Suite on the upper level over looking the pool. You need to take two flights of stairs to get to the room level, and there os no elevator present in case you have difficulty with stairs.

The room is ideal for a couple or a single occupant. Definitely not the room to book if you aren't an involved couple or if you have children. It has a KS bed, small couch at the foot of the bed, LCD tv mounted on the wall, mini bar, room safe, shower over bath and separate toilet. The shower and bedroom are separated by opaque glass, but quite visible if you're in the shower and there's another person in the bedroom. The room has AC and a ceiling fan. The windows have outer wooden shutters that can be locked open for day light and closed at night. The windows are two sliding (like a sliding door) windows however have no means of locking them shut, so a small gap exists. The rooms aren't exactly noise proof, with ambient traffic noise, horns, and people around the pool or grounds easy to hear.

The pool is small and can fill up quickly with people. There are a limited number of banana lounges available. Towels are available and free to patrons from a pool attendant situated between the Western Bar and the Day Spa.

The hotel Restaraunt is nice and have a good selection for breakfast daily. We ate there for one night meal as part of our complimentary package when we booked. The food was nice but we preferred (price wise) to sample the many kcal restaurants and food stalls Hôi An town has to offer at very cheap prices.

Overall the hotel was a great location, friendly and helpful staff, and enjoyable stay. Aesthetically there could be some maintenance done to freshen parts of the hotel up, but we have no hesitation in recommending a stay here in Hôi An.

My husband and I stayed at Hoi An hotel for a week and it was wonderful. The hotel is just a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of the old city but once you enter the gate it is totally serene and quiet. The staff are delightful and can't do enough for you. The rooms are lovely and the air conditioner stays on when you are out of the room. Very helpful when its 35 degrees outside. The breakfast is delicious too. Go the banana pancakes. We were here in 2007 and it is just as well run now as then.
