Stayed here for 2 nights in October when with a Page & Moy 2 week tour of Vietnam & Cambodia. Did not see much of the hotel as only really there for sleep and breakfast. However, no complaints and its restaurant, partly outside, overlooking the river, for breakfast was really rather nice. Quiet and peaceful and it was just rather nice to watch the river flow slowly by with the odd fisherman at work in his small boat.
Oddly my battery razor would not work at first in the morning and my camera misted up. Both faults probably caused by the high humidity at this sea side hotel and a bit of warmth in my pocket soon rectified both.
Rather large 'cavernous' rooms - almost spectactular, but the air conditioning worked well. The loo is in a combined part of the room with the bath and with glass separations. Be a bit careful as I walked from loo to bath and banged into the glass between the two!
The resort is a bit far 'out of town' but runs a shuttle bus that we used once and that efficiently was dead on time.
Oveall from what we saw and used, this hotel deserves its 4 start status and would seem to be a good base for the Hoi An area.More
