Owner description: Another of the twenty assembly halls in Hoi An. Though it has some attractive detail, this assembly hall isn’t as elaborate as the Cantonese or Fukian.

“Nice place”
Reviewed 14 March 2014

If you have seen other assembly halls then you can give this is miss. There are prettier more elaborate options available in Hoi An. It's a peaceful place though so if you are looking to rest while people watching, you can visit.

“Nice”
Reviewed 12 July 2013

Tip: to visit this place you don't need to buy the Sightseeing ticket (if you only want to visit this one). They charge 10 000.

It's beautiful. The ceilings are very detailed. And it's not so crowded like the other attractions. So it's nicer to visit. The owner/ staff is very nice. He called our attention for some details.

“Just another temple/clan hall”
Reviewed 9 July 2013

This clan hall does not offer too much new to the visited who has been to other temples and clan homes around town. It is also much more exciting from the outside than from the inside. You can visit for free if you do so as the sun is setting (a feature that is true of many attractions in Hoi An)

“Like a temple”
Reviewed 17 December 2012

The Chaozhou hall looks more like a temple. If you have visited the other assembly halls, you can give this a miss. Spend 30min here at most.
