Short walk into the centre of hoi an. Lovely luxury hotel. Comfortable room and bed. Bathroom with bath inset into the floor. Outside the room were two day beds overlooking the river. Breakfast was great. Western food was adequate. Service was very friendly and helpful.

We spent three nigths in this beautiful hotel in hoi an. Rooms are very big, well furnished and are provided with a private and nice terrace. It is around 10 minutes walking from the city center of hoi an.
Breakfast is very good. We recommend this hotel.

This is our second stay at this hotel. It is perfectly situated at the side of the old quarters of Hoi An and on the river. The rooms are villa-like, quiet and very comfortable. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The new year celebration put together by the hotel included the lucky ritual of floating candles on the river, and dragon dancing. Food is wonderful. Its a really inspiring and relaxing place to stay. We will be back again.

Room Tip: all rooms have a view, river side looks out on life going by and garden view is formal.

We arrived to find we have been double upgraded as we were also GHA members. The suite allocated us was very spacious and overlooked the river. It was a layout alike The Venetian, except that you enter to a lounge which was still spacious after an extra bed was added, step up to the bedroom and through another set of doors to the spacious bathroom. We received a lovely fruit platter and we brought the fruits to our shoe maker.
Breakfast was on the 1st floor and overlooks the river. There was a big choice from western bacon and eggs, crepes, fruits, etc and eastern Vietnamese pho and coffee, etc The complimentary drink we had at the Heritage Bar, although we were informed we could have it at the Riverside Cafe, they turned us away. The GM made an effort to meet us and made us feel very welcome. He's quite new and recommended that the staff were very well versed on Hoi An and they were. We found that most information on Hoi An activities were not well known by the locals, eg, you can't ask someone where the performing arts hall is or where this and that is , it is better that you get the information from the hotel staff. They will call and confirm the event before sending you on your way - great service!
The free bicycles were a great saving from walking especially for the fittings of clothes and shoes. We could just take the bicycles and ride to the shops at the other end and be back quickly. At first, we walked but after a day it was so tiring. The bicycles can be parked anywhere especially convenient on the pavement in front of the shops. We even cycled out for banana fritters late at night.
We went for a dip in the swimmimg pool as it was chiii..li. Nice setting. We also had a lantern making session, it's about 160000 dongs each. We did felt bad as one of the staff was teaching us and we overshot her shift time. Suggest to management to ensure this does not happen as we felt very bad and ended up giving her a big tip to compensate for it.
There is a free shuttle to the beach but everything is quite cheap, taxis to the other side of town is like no more than $1.
Laundry - if you walk out with a bag, you will be accosted by a group of women who will try and take your bag away from you. It is best to ask the price before handing over. It was like 10000 dong for the bigger pieces and 5000 dong for socks and underwear. However, for a higher price, each will come in a new plastic like when you purchase a new Tshirt. We handed over all the new items as we wanted to be sure that they did not run. Surprisingly, some of the new cheap items we purchased and have washed at home, did not run. The quality of ready made casual clothes seem very good.
All in all a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for a bit of luxury!

Great service, Beautiful grounds,Wonderful rooms, rainforest shower, turn down service. Could not be better. Loved it! Top notch from beginning to end. Was the hotel highlight of Central Vietnam. Only downside was the price of laundry or massage. I would recommend going to town for these.

The breakfast overlooking the river from the terrace, probably was the most memerable part of our one night stay. But also the location very close to the old city and the services of the resort made our stay a day (and night) well spend.

Should have stayed here for 2 nights but had to evacuated due to flooding tail end of typhoon. Very sad for the hotel & lovely people of Hoi An also for me as I loved the place. Had room service which was excellent, lovely pool, & very well appointed large room, just my sort of place.sorry to have to leave so quickly, but the floods were rising fast & they managed to get us all safely away, not to a better hotel I am sad to say but these things happen. Loved the hotel & loved the beautiful town of Hoi An. Will recommend & return for sure
