There were few reasons to give this place 4 stars: our A/C was dripping the first day; the phone was not working properly so they sent someone to the room for an hour (while we were relaxing in the room?); the safe ran out of battery; weather did not permit water sports (not the resort's fault to be honest).
Now onto the goods. This place is beautiful. Few resorts in Vietnam achieve the level of professionalism yet gives you the privacy and the warm feeling of being in a small town. The design of Palm Garden, with the palm trees ensure that we didn't feel lost and ignored - the feeling sometimes encountered while staying at big hotels. Despite being 100% full on some nights, the place did not seem crowded at all. The private beach was long, sandy and not too crowded. The heated pool was HUGE and by far the most fun I've been in. Breakfast was diverse and delicious.
After reporting the repeated issues with our first room, we got upgraded to a deluxe. The room was spacious and made twice daily (a little too much?). Details like the shining furniture and complimentary chocolate everyday show how meticulously the place is cared for. Definitely recommendMore
