We stayed here in December and very much enjoyed our time. The staff were so friendly and the hotel was within an easy walk to the Old Town. Although the room was small, it was spotlessly clean with a nice balcony. We were at the front of the property on the third floor.
Breakfast was simple but very nice. The back desk where breakfast os served has a lovely outlook. We would stay here again on our next visit to Hoi An.

Really an excellent 4 days stay.
In Hoi An tourists basically decide between the small boutique-family hotels in the village and the new big resorts on the seaside: we were travelling there for new years eve (18-20 degrees), so we decided to stay close to the center.
I'm surprised reading such negative comments from people who wrote just one review, but anyway... we were really happy because
1. The customer service was excellent, and faster than the south east asia stardard one
2. The location, as I wrote before, was 3 mins walking distance from everything
3. The breakfast was very, very good, served on a terrace overviewing a morning glory field. Fresh fruits and eggs&pancakes the highlights: standard in four stars hotels, remarkable in the small ones
4. We were supported so well in our excursions (taxi, pick ups, tips, guides, last second issues etc) that we organized everything with them.
5. The local women running this place really gave us extra-mile services, even when the bookings / arrangements were not bringing money to them.
The only issue we had was with the room when we checked in: we reserved a room with the typical vietnamese wooden bathtube and we got the same room without it (but with a larger bathroom): no problem, we were moved the next day with tons of apologies.
On top of that, I celebrated my birthday whilst there, and the cake we were expecting to pay... was offered. With other apologies for the room misunderstading on our fist day.
Average prices, booked through agoda.
Hoi An is beautiful, and this hotel made our memories even better.

Room Tip: I would pick one on the rear overviewing terrace and fields. The street might be noisy.

On reading the last few reviews of this hotel, I can't believe that we stayed in the same place. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. It's clean and comfortable, located in a side street away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. For us, the ten minute walk into town was well worth it because it meant that we could escape into this quieter area at the end of the day. We stayed in rooms at the back of the hotel overlooking the paddy fields, which was really lovely. The buffet breakfast was the best that we ate during our stay in Vietnam. We usually hate buffet breakfasts but these were actually good. A good selection of fruit, yogourt, nice baguettes, good coffee and hot food cooked to order. We found all the staff friendly and helpful, especially the manager, who had a lovely sense of humour. There is a 3% surcharge on the bill if paying by credit card, which isn't great, but we found that this was the same at all the hotels we stayed at in Vietnam.

Room Tip: We had rooms at the back overlooking the paddy fields because we wanted to treat ourselves for Christmas. These were great but the most expensive.

I just read the previous review of the person and I have to say I disagree with much of what she said. Not all staff are as unhelpful as she described as my friend and I dealt with two other staff members who were more than helpful in organising day trips and giving us local advice. Unfortunately, not everyone in these hotels speak great English.

Our experience of this hotel was very different. We organised an airport pickup from Danang that was worth it as we got in very late. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but stayed for 5. The breakfast was plentiful with fresh fruit, omelettes, pancakes and coffee. The area was scenic. Slightly out of town (10 min walk) but we appreciated being a little away from the action.

My friend had trouble sleeping some nights as we were on the ground floor and all the staff would make noise in the morning making breakfast but other than that I can't fault the hotel. Free water each day, beautiful bathrooms with hot water and chilled place to relax watching a DVD we bought in town as well.

Overall I would strongly recommend this place!

We got a confirmation for 4 persons and 2 nights for a total of $160. It was stated 1-2rooms. We finally got 2 rooms and they asked us to pay twice of the initially confirmed price. And on top, they:
asked for 3% surgarche for paying with a credit card
there was no warm water in the shower
they didn't fix the problem even that we asked them to do it
there were cockroaches in the room

The lady at the front desk could not decide and the boss was not available

Room Tip: Look for a different hotel
