“nice, quiet boutique hotel”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

it was a very quiet hotel. the balcony of the queen suite was facing some greens which made it very relaxing to chill. room was good sized.

hotel not too far from ancient city. 10 minutes walk or you could rent a bicycle for USD1 a day. that way, you can see more of the small quiet city.

we arrived close to midnight and the hotel was closed already. felt bad we had to wake the reception up to check us in.

upon check in we couldn't shower though, toilet design was not very convenient. the bath tub was hole stucked and water couldnt flow so we had to wait till the next morning to get it fixed. was quite disgusting to shower with the water in the tub.

Apart from this, the stay was pleasant. the staff was polite and helpful. not much selections for breakfast but food was fresh. they cooked us fresh eggs, there were plenty of fresh fruits and the baguette was fresh. so no complains. we actually enjoyed the breakfast site. simple, quiet and nice.

all in all, despite the little hiccups, we enjoyed the 4 days in the hotel.

The hotel is situated on the edge of the ancient city, within easy walking distance of all sights and many good restaurants. Being on a back street, the location is quiet. The staff were excellent; efficient and thoughtful; and always happy to chat and talk about their country. The hotel has a pool and well presented rooms. The rear verandah, where breakfast is served, looks out over a water covered field of Morning Glory and you can watch the local farmers tend their crops as well as a good deal of bird life.

Room Tip: Upper rooms at the rear have a balcony looking over the flooded paddock with lots of bird life. Howe...

We booked a twin superior room which is larger than our friends' double superior rooms. Western style breakfast are adequate and was served in a lovely setting overlooking a water spinach farm, with egrets and pheasants perched amongst the trees. Helpful front desk staff. There is a swiming pool but filter pump not switched on.

Room Tip: Double rooms are very small with no room to place your luggage without tripping over your suitcases...

We booked this hotel on its past reviews and we were not disappointed, its a boutique hotel and a little different in ways but we just loved everything about it, our room was excellent with a balcony overlooking fields and below us the deck where all breakfasts are served, very good choice for breakfast, cooked fresh by very pleasant staff who smiled a lot, give your day a good start, the hotel was within walking distance of all you need to visit while in Hoi An and on a quiet street with good places to dine, also lots of bike hire places near by, great way to get around Hoi An. This hotel is managed by Ann, no request is to much trouble and every guest is special to her, Ann has a wonderful staff around her who are trained to see your need and hep immediately.
Thank you Ann for a wonderful time. William & Freda. Ireland.

Room Tip: We had a room to the back of the hotel which was very quiet, its on a quiet street so the front rooms...

We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are all incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist us in any way we needed. The room was lovely, and the bathroom very clean and new. The free buffet breakfast was good. This hotel is well located, a short walk from the old town, but far enough from it that the street isn't overly noisy or busy. I would recommend this hotel and would come again!

We had 2 great days in Hoi An. The hotel is well located and reasonably quiet.
Pros:
Nice breakfast spot overlooking fields
Rooms are pretty decent

Cons:
Staff seem more interested in getting you on a tour or into a shop with one of its preferred partners (this generally means a kickback) than they do on ensuring you have an excellent stay in HA.
No elevators and bellman has no English, but is very friendly
Rates are pretty steep for the area

Would be great if they offered free bike rental. It's a nice, easy ride to the beach.

We moved to Thien Thanh hotel and stayed for two nights after a disastrous first night at another hotel. Pleasant room that comes with mosquito net, spacious beds and space to move our things around, plus a nice clean toilet. Breakfast was good though selection was a lil minimal but it comes with a good view and food was cook-to-order. Service was good. Quite an easy walk to the ancient town and we also rented bicycles from the place next door to explore the town. A waste that we did not have enough time to have a dip in the pool as we did not have enough time but we will surely visit again one day soon.
