“Location was perfect!”
Reviewed 15 April 2011

One of the main reasons for us booking this hotel was the location, an easy two minute stroll over the bridge and you were right at the old town where the market ends!

We had arranged for the hotel to pick us up at the airport but no one showed up but with the help of some of the local taxi drivers we managed to get this sorted and ended up paying less than the hotel were charging!

We stayed in one of the bungalows overlooking the river, which was lovely and peaceful, the room itself was nice and clean, beds ok, bathroom a bit small but fine for us. Tea, coffee, water and fresh fruit. Mini bar, tv, safe, hairdryer.

Swimming pool was great but only a few sun loungers, pool towels provided.

Didnt eat in the hotel as so many better and cheaper places in the old town!

There's a reason this "resort" is ranked so low. The rooms were mediocre, dribbling water pressure in the showers which were about 4 feet off the ground. The beds were rock hard, and that's rock hard for Asia. not too far from the old town, but there are much nicer hotels IN the old town for the same price. The lock on my door was jammed so it took a great deal of trying to open it. We asked for a different room but decided to stay in ours when the next two had worse problems then ours! I can't vouch for the upgraded or more expensive rooms, but if your looking for something for a moderate price range, look elsewhere.

The location of this hotel is good and service and rooms are fine if you're paying around the $20 mark. We booked their Summer package and didn't receive many tours/items in the package. Staff kept changing bookings for us and we were constantly asked for more money. Definitely not worth the price. There are much nicer hotels for less money around Hoi An. Don't bother with this one.

Tired, poorly maintained, noisy. The exposed wiring and terrible electrical work was scary. Bathroom smelly and sink cracked.

Graet location, nice pool, but rooms were highly in need of upgrade. Still have hand shower spout, moldy smelling room and bathroom. Clean but just rather dingy. Staff was very kind and breakfast was good. Give it a C+.

During a one month trip to Vietnam staying in $20-$50 per night hotels this was the worst I stayed in and I would recomend you look elsewhere to enjoy all that Hoi An has to offer. It should also be noted that this hotel only accepts cash and if you want to pay in local currency a dollar conversion is applied at a very poor rate. The management staff are surly, the rooms are very tired and in need of both renovation and safety improvements. Many exposed electrical wires and doors that won't close. The breakfast service was disappointing with tables not cleared quickly and no tables if you don't arrive early. Also the room price quoted in the hotel is less than the online price. Overall this is one you should avoid!
