Amazing service and fantastic place to relax. Our room rate came with a complementary massage every day which was brilliant. Shuttle bus to the beach was great and a 10 minute walk from the old town for food at night. Would recommend staying here to rest and relax as it’s a much slower pace than Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh.
Only negative was housekeeping coming round to clean rooms at 530am and waking us up by banging doors and shouting housekeeping. Told the hotel about it and they just said it was because guests had left early and they wanted to get a head start to the cleaning. Fair enough but do it quietly at that time.

Beautiful hotel,
We were made to feel very welcome from arrival to departure. The room is tastefully decorated, with a raised bed area. No wardrobes but good hanging storage areas. Balcony view was disappointing as we were looking out to a building site !

Book a room on the top floor, there are a lot of children in the hotel and the scraping of chairs across the floor above you when you try to sleep, can be quite annoying.

Toilet is not as 'secluded' in the room as i would have wished for and so unless you have music playing and your partner is in the loo, you hear everything. !

Breakfast buffet was good, bacon a bit fatty for my liking but that is how is it out here, if you leave breakfast towards the end of the morning, the selection is slightly less and you may have to order more of the buffet to be prepared.

Wellness centre...amazing, best massage i have ever had, steam and sauna rooms available as well as great showering facilities. very close to the old town, restaurants, cafes, shops and river, all within walking distances.

Room tip: Rooms on top floor are quieter, ask for a pool view room....

We stayed for 4 nights in Feb 2019.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were warmly welcomed by the staff and guided to our room. Comfortable, clean and spacious, the room ("My Spirit" room) and the hotel made us feel at peace with its airy and simple decor. With separate bath and rain shower facilities in the room and a powder room, turn-down service, the hotel just wants to pamper us.

Breakfast was great with international and local selections, freshly blended flavour/health theme-of-the-day juices and egg station, there were even options for vegans. The pool was great however pool staff service could be improved especially during happy-hour as they were sluggish which is unlike anytime other time at the hotel.

Great gym facilities and equipment and being a wellness hotel, we were offered 1hr massage at the spa for every night that we stayed. That was the highlight for us especially after exlporing Hoi An and the Old town the whole day. What was excellent as well was the option of using those credits as they could be combined to a 2hr massage as we couldn't make it on one of the days due to a daytrip. The spa caters to a wide range of wellness services from steam room and sauna to salon and natural/organic cosmetic-making classes.

The hotel is located in close proximity to the Old Town (15min on foot) and plenty of local resturants in th vicinity as well as several convenience stores. The hotel also has complimentary bicycles for rent which came in handy for cycling to the beach.

Definitely worth a stay at this gem.

This hotel is fantastic! The staff are determined to make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is great, with a selection of Vietnamese, Japanese and western foods. The pool in beautiful surroundings and was never too busy during our stay. Outside, the hotel is situated on a busy road with the inevitable cacophony of Vietnamese car/motorcycle horns, but none of this transmits to the accommodation itself, which is an oasis of calm. A fifteen minute walk, braving those same motorcycles as you seem to have to when crossing any Vietnamese road, leads you to Hoi An’s old town, with many shops, bars and restaurants. Every afternoon during our stay the staff dropped whatever they were doing to join in with a Tai Chi session in keeping with the hotel’s “wellness” theme. Hoi An was our favourite town on this trip and we would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going there. Fabulous!

This was our second visit to the Almanity - we were on an organised tour last year, and loved it so much we returned as independent travellers. Wonderful staff, who gave us a lovely, warm welcome as returning guests. We thoroughly enjoyed the wellness part - massage, sauna, pool - and the opportunity to relax poolside at happy hour. There was also a very good singer performing in the evening, which was congenial.
Highly recommended!
