“Home from home ”
Reviewed 24 February 2018 for a stay in January 2018

We had booked into the Jasmine homestay for 5 nights, as this was our first visit to Vietnam we were not quite sure what to expect. I have to say that our time here was the highlight of our 2week trip. The accommodation was clean, cosy and inviting. Our hosts Hieu and her mum Bup were so lovely and welcoming they made us feel very special with the little things they did each day from putting fresh fruit in our room each day making us fresh ginger tea each morning as we both had thickly coughs. Everything about our stay here was perfect, the accommodation was a 20 minute walk into the old town and An bang beach was just a short cycle ride away through the paddy fields. We were very sad to leave here and hope to return some time in the future.

Hui was very helpful and made our stay comfortable and easy to enjoy Hoi An. We had the very lovely breakfast each morning. The homestay is in a nice safe neighbourhood.

“A real gem in Hoi An”

We've known this family since 1994 and were delighted to learn that they had opened a homestay. We had a really great week in Jasmine Homestay in March 2017. We received the best welcome from Bup and Hieu who were always helpful and doing everything possible to make us feel at home. From the minute we arrived we were immersed in their lovely, friendly Vietnamese culture. They truly managed to make our stay comfortable, relaxed and unforgettable. We highly recommend their Homestay, with large bedroom, comfortable large bed and impeccable bathroom, delicious breakfast and superb homely cooking. We loved the lanterns at night in the garden, the flowers, the bananas, the breakfast on our private little terrace. Top on our list of places. It was also good to have the bicycles available, with beaches, the river, the rice-fields and the town centre all within easy reach. We look forward to returning at some future date.

“Jasmine Homestay - “Beautiful home, brilliant service, hard to beat””

Our stay at Jasmine homestay has been a high-point. Staying with the owner and her daughter in their welcoming Jasmine homestay was a great way to our year-long adventure. We felt very welcome when we arrived dripping wet and sick. The owner and her daughter immediately provided us with great information about Hoi An and generally cared for our wellbeing We appreciated the share conservations and information about this land and culture with Hieu, the daughter. Hieu speaks excellent English and was able to recommend lots of local activities (based on our interests) as well as tell us a bit about the local vibe in Hoi An. Bup, the owner,(who speaks a little English and better French) cooked us delicious banana pancakes for breakfast and was very warm and motherly to us during our stay - so sweet! The bedroom and bathroom were large and clean, a/c worked well, there's a fridge in the room. It was perfectly clean and daily refreshed by the owner who went far and beyond to make us feel like home. With a private patio and surrounded by lovely gardens & banana trees it is a super setting. The homestay is less than five minutes ride from hoi an town, and a great little ride to two beaches and an organic vegetable village. They even helped sort out motorbike rental, train tickets and a driver to the airport for us which would have been difficult to arrange by ourselves. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
P/S: A note of thanks seems not quite enough after all of the outstanding hospitality and the care you have shown us. We wish you all the best. Many many thanks.

We spent four great nights at this lovely family house. The room was really clean and lovely - a great bathroom - and Hieu and Mme Bup went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Mme Bup's banana pancakes are already legendary and we were welcomed to a family meal that was sugar-free, vegan and very tasty! We can only recommend Jasmine's Homestay really highly!

“Great Stay in Hoi An”

We had an incredible 3 night stay at the Jasmine Homestay! Hieu and Mme. Bup made us feel welcome immediately and were a pleasure to chat to. The 3 breakfasts we enjoyed were a highlight of our time in Hoi An (we'll dream about the banana pancakes)! The space is exactly as described - private, clean, and unique. Located just outside of the old town, it provided a good escape from the busy area, with only a short walk or bike ride to get wherever you need. Would highly recommend the Jasmine Homestay to any traveler!
