My advice would be not to stay at this hotel unless you get a great deal. On the plus side the breakfast is good and breakfast staff friendly.
The hotel is located on the opposite side of the river and whilst a bridge is being built until then it is a 3 km walk or taxi to the city. Whilst impressive in some ways, well lit, prominent lighting so the hotel can be seen from a distance, glass elevator it fails on the basics.
The reception staff were the most uninterested I have encountered in Asia, no interest in your stay, journey, room, attractions although they were polite. Rooms are ok free toiletrie, but old TV's with few channels, smell of smoke, insufficient air con unit, window that did not close. There are four internet terminals, two computers and only one works. I think that the e mail address on the website of the hotel being incorrect sums it up. It will probably continue to survive through people staying over on coach trips.More
