“Long, historical beach”
Reviewed 14 April 2012

Nice long beach that was used for the R&R of the GIs. Nice view of the large Buddha.

“Beautiful but WAIT for the High-Rise”
Reviewed 13 April 2012

China beach is one of the most unspoilt beaches we have ever been to and it goes for miles!
SUGESTION go now, before it is spoilt by all the high-rise hotels that are being built, we stayed at the Fusion Maia which is a low rise heaven, but with the Crown Plaza and Hyatt building up into the skys it is spoiling the natural beauty, it’s a shame that Vietnam is trying to catch up with Thailand.

“It's all China Beach”
Reviewed 29 March 2012

Where we stayed was My Khe and we assume that this is where the first marines landed. Although it was windy and overcast you can see the potential of the beach. Nice Beach break but couldn't find a surfboard anywhere.

“good”
Reviewed 24 March 2012

loved China Beach! Even though we were not there at the absolute best time of year we had some sunny days and the beach was lovely. It's not always possible to swim due to an undertow that can be a bit tricky. But most Hotels and Resorts along the beach, put out flags to indicated if it's safe or not and many also have life guards on duty..
