We stayed in 2 beach front bungalows. The rooms were nice, quite spacious if you're only 2 but if you need an extra bed in the room feels a bit crammed. Breakfast was good, pool area nice and the beach almost deserted - lovely! You could walk for half an hour and only meet 1 or 2 fishermen. Eating and drinking at the hotel was very overpriced and the quality was uneven. We had some snacks by the pool which must have been standing outside for too long, since wasn't very good for our stomaches... We went to Phan Thiet for dinner almost every night. Don't expect to find any fancy restaurants there, but the restaurants beside the river just to the right after the bridge are great! We ate at different restaurants there every night. Try the giant prawns, they're monsters! We paid between 300 000 - 1 000 000 Dong for 5-10 dishes and 8 beer/coca-cola. Some restaurants even have English menues, otherwise just check out what other people are eating and point to the things you like. Extremely good value...
The compulsory dinners at Christmas and New Year's Eve were not very good to say the least. The food was bland and the popular dishes (like prawns) ran out after just a few minutes. The music was extremely (!!!) loud.
The hotel was in an isolated location, with nothing much around. Very good seeing you got the beach all to yourself, but not so good when you wanted to go to restaurants in town. The shuffle bus was good though, so it wasn't really any problem for us.
Communicating with the staff wasn't the easiest since nobody spoke English very well, but they tried and most things were sorted out after a while.
The Spa was very (!) overpriced but quite nice.
All in all it's a good hotel, but improvements can definitely be done. For what you get I think it's a bit expensive. Absolutely adored the empty beach though! And the waves were good fun. If you're looking for fancier restaurants you should stay in Mui Ne (way to touristy in my opinion, but to each his own).
