Sea Links Golf & Country Club

Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: Asia's most challenging links style course. The Sea Links Mui Ne Phan Thiet - Vietnam golf course is located in Phan Thiet City, some 200km from Ho Chi Minh City. Sea Links lies in the heart of a simply breathtaking area of the countryside. Nearby attractions include Lau Ong Hoang, Poshanu Tower, Ong Dia Stone, Ham Tien and Hon Gom. It is in the same class as prestigious resorts like Victoria, Saigon - Mui Ne and Bamboo Village. Sea Links is the second course in Phan Thiet, joining Ocean Dunes Golf Club as two jewels in this Vietnamese coastal town. Sea Links Golf Club is built on an area of 160 hectares on a cliff with wild and beautiful sand dunes. The golf course is practically at the sea level, just a few minutes from Full Moon Beach and with amazing views of the ocean below. The courses designers, Ronald Fream and Golfplan Company, highlight that the course retains much of the original terrain of white sand dunes. Sea Links looks over the ocean, with panoramic views of Mui Ne Bay, thus creating a particular appeal for golfers. The golfers at Sea Links can experience for themselves a modern but traditional links style golf course that exists nowhere else in Vietnam and or even in Asia. With a length of 7,700 yards from the tips, each hole has its own beauty and challenge. Notable are the long par fives and 2 island par threes. Heavy undulations are found on the greens and fairways making it as challenging as they come. Billed as 'The Most Challenging Links Style Golf Course In Asia', Sea Links is destined to become one of the best Vietnam golf courses.

“Beautiful golf with sea view”
Reviewed 2 July 2013

Very nice golf course with some holes have sea view, very hilly and curvy. A bit difficult, especially with the wind. A nice challenge for good golf players and a pleasant experience for the not so good golf players (if you don't mind loosing some balls).

Sea Links Golf & Country Club is the highlight of the Sea Links City. 18 hole golf course challenging with rolling fairways, bunkers and water holes are large ingenious layout, many trees, bushes and sunshine and sea breezes in the way golfers stretches over 7700 yards will make victory your become more wonderful. In particular, you also experience this noble subject spectacular sea front or shimmering lights by night.

“Challenging from every tee”
Reviewed 3 March 2013

I played the course three times; once form the blue tees and twice from the white tees. From booth tees you meet well located bunkers (the course has plenty of these) and strategic water hazards.

The fairways have some brown spots but this is quite natural for a course built on sand dunes. The greens have an average speed but are true.

I enjoyed playing here although my game was not up to the challenging course.

“Tough Course”
Reviewed 13 September 2012

Golf course was in good shape considering the heat. We walked which didn't seem that popular with the caddies and by the end of the round they pretty much stopped trying. It was very hot and humid so I didn't blame them but it didn't enhance the experience. The course itself was good but very difficult. One of the most difficult I have played and might not be the best for inexperienced golfers. 1 cart per person if you do take a cart which is strange so it is common to see 4 carts for a foursome along with 4 caddies. Worth a visit if you like a challenge.
