We stayed at coco resort at the end of our 3 week honeymoon in November and was amazing.!

the 5 hour train journey from saigon was a little bit difficult but once we got there it was all worth it. we stayed in the bungalow in the garden bit and it was lovely. bed was comfy and the bathroom was very clean . still had lovely feel of traditional beach hut but with all the modern requirements.!! and i loved the lemongrass shower gels/ shampoo.

only thing that was a little bit dodgey was the key not locking properly and was a little clunky. there was a safe in the room anyways and was a pretty safe resort anyways so didnt have any problems at all.
Nearby lots of BBQ seafood places... and also check out sand dunes.!

The service was amazing. All the girls at breakfast were really friendly and very helpful.

Great 3 day break and amazing end to our honeymoon. thank u to coco resort.

My wife stayed here for 9 days as the last part of our 20th Anniversary celebration . We cannot thank Daniel and his staff enough for everything they did for us . A huge thank you to Robert the head chef and all the reception staff , the beach boys and everyone involved in making this beautiful resort so special . Daniel the owner walks the resort every morning making sure every detail of the resort is at its best . The gardens are amazing , the beach is raked and cleaned every day , the food amazing . There is nothing that can make this resort better than what it is . It's a labour of love for Daniel and his staff which reflects in every detail . Highly recommended . We will be back and if not the memory will never leave our hearts .

As our bus reached "the strip" after a wearying 6 hour drive from Ho Chi Min City, I thought I'd made a bad mistake. The strip consists of a continuous 5 mile line of beachside hotels on one side (admittedly most in spacious, leafy grounds), and on the other shops selling tourist tat and restaurants with pictures of their food, captioned in English and Russian.
My wife's and my spirits rose somewhat when we entered Coco Beach's gounds, although - unusually for this part of the world - our reception was not over-welcoming. The verdant grounds are beautifully kept, with a good-sized and immaculately clean pool in the centre, and the accommodation, comprising 25 wooden, thatched cabins on stilts scattered around, with plenty of space between each one. Very comfortable they are too; not luxurious, but clean and spacious with lots of storage space and plenty of seating. We particularly enjoyed an early evening drink sitting on our verandah, looking out over the beach and sea.
The pleasant beachside restaurant serves an excellent breakfast, and the one dinner we ate there was good too, although no better (and a bit more expensive) than the dozens available outside on the strip.
The beach is lovely and almost empty until late morning, when the wind gets up and it suddenly fills with hundreds of kite surfers, except for Coco Beach's private section which remains blissfully free of them. None of the hotel guests, regardless of nationality, rises before dawn to bag a sun bed, as there are more beds in the grounds and on the beach than there are guests!.
The beach attendants are, like almost all the staff, quite delightful, courteous and helpful, the only exceptions being a couple of the receptionists (the two we encountered on arrival), the American chef who talks about himself all the time and and a lady stationed in the beach restaurant (I don't know what she did) who I took to be German because she ignored all but the German guests.
Generally a very pleasant stay as long as we remained within the hotel grounds.

Room Tip: Clearly, those cabins right on the beach are the ones to aim for.

Dear Seamus2,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write and post your kind review of Coco Beach. I am happy that the experience was enjoyable for you both.
It is true that the "Strip" (a very distinctive array of spas, restaurants, bars or shops offers a large choice to occupy the evenings - thankfully, we are not overwhelmed by the classic signs in other populous vacation spots where fast-food chains' billboards fight for space) tends to be quite lively in the heart of the High Season, adding excitement and "buzz" to an otherwise quiet and relaxing destination.
Hoping to have the pleasure of your visit again in a not too distant future and thanking you warmly again for your kind words, I remain
With best regards. D.A

My wife and I spent five wonderful days here and can't say enough good things about the resort. The staff, accommodations, food and beach were top notch. Coming from the US it's not easy to get there, but well worth it once you're there.

Thanks for the wonderful memories and we look forward to going back!

We were originally planning to spend most of our time in HCMC but glad we stumbled upon Coco Beach during our search. Truly a relaxed environment where you can live in your bathing suit or comfortable clothing. No need to follow any schedule/program or bother with dress codes.

We boarded a Phuong Trang bus at 8am and arrived at 3pm! Our obvious impatience was rewarded by Coco Beach's Reception and then by the sight of our beach front bungalow. Kids are happy & husbands not snoring.

The wind and waves can become quite strong, but it seems ideal for kite surfers. Resort food and nearby restaurants are very reasonably priced.

I prefer this over Club Med Bali.
