We had a lovely time at Aroma beach resort & spa. The beautifully designed resort is secluded from the hustling and bustling of the Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street area, the main street in Mui Ne town. But it only takes a 10 minute ride by motorbike from the resort to the area. We rent a motorbike for US$7 a day, which is reasonable enough.

The newly opened resort is attractive with its stunning garden artfully designed with a lot of green zone, including palm trees, flowers, lakes, all of which create a very relaxing ambience. The infinitive pool could not be amazing. Kids and adults could spend all day long swimming and relaxing in the lovely pool with leafy palm trees surrounded.

The bungalow sea view is a fantastic choice. It's spacious and lovely. The balcony overlooking the pool and sea is provided with a sofa. The area is even large enough for all family gather for a party.

But what makes the resort stand out is its staff who are willing to offer help even before you make any request. The breakfast is not so fabulous but is standard for a 4-star resort. Yet the restaurant boasts a lovely sea view, which is a big plus!!! We enjoyed having breakfast because of the great view , instead of the foods.

All in all, this new lovely resort is highly recommended. I would go back!!!

Room Tip: Let's go for a seaview bungalow.

We recently visited this resort and we were very happy with the overall experience but I feel there are some key points to highlight for other future guests. I specifically booked and exclusive villa with private spa only to arrive at the hotel and find there is no hot water available to the spa so it was never used. In saying that our room was stunning but still a little disappointed, and the smaller things that create that 5 star experience are still missing, such as turn down service, fresh fruit etc. We ate the Resturant majority of the time choosing not to venture in to the township but to relax which the resort provides very well, we felt the food was fresh well prepared and reasonable in price although the menu does require coming up to 5 star standards, there is very little local options and the meals are quite basic. The staff are very keen to service the guests well in particular a gentleman in the Resturant named Tri who was exception and by far speaks the best English which is rare on site. I understand the resort had not been open long when we visited and are very keen to get feed back for improvement so in short we would like to come back as it is a very nice resort but we hope to see some little 5 star improvements to match the 5 star price. Last of all, the most shocking thing was that on check out you are hit with a typical Vietnamese tourist hidden cost and that is that all prices you see and sign for in huge resort do not include tax so a 10% surcharge is added to your bill on check out! Take this in to consideration when considering going into town or utilising the resort services....

This is a beautiful hotel - completely new. We booked the second best room type and received an upgrade to the aroma villa on our arrival. The room was just great: huge bed, terrace, sea and pool view, huge living room, big bathroom even a little garden with a jacuzzi. What more do you want? The pool was also big and clean, however, I missed the sun umbrellas - there were none. They had 4 daybeds which had to be rented at a very hugh rate for 4 hours, thus they were always available. The breakfast was nice, but I was a bit surprised that I had to pay extra as I fancied a cappuchino. This should be included in a luxury hotel. Also, the staff was replenishing the buffet items only on notification. This brings me to the greatest area of improvement: the service. The staff there does not see what needs to be done (e.g. replenishment of butter or OJ, removal of towels, replenishment of towels or drinking water in the room). In my view this is an area that can be trained and considering that the resort only opened 3 months ago no one can expect perfect processes. The staff there seems to be willing to learn, but they need training, guidance and direction. What worries me is that in my four days there I could not see anyone who could provide that. A person that could have been the hotel manager was never seen. It was like a boat with crew but without captain.
Communication can be difficult as the staff hardly speaks any english. There are many mosquitos at night and the rooms are not well equipped for that (no mosquito plugs).
Again, this is a wonderful place, but the service has to improve. I hope that the staff will get someone who trains them and explains what matters. If this will be fixed then the Aroma resort is highly recommendable.
The location was nice in a rather quiet area. A taxi is needed to go to town and costs around 2-3 USD. There are plenty of restaurants with great fresh seafood at very low prices.

Nice hotel, nice room, nice pool, friendly staff but they don't speak so good english. Breakfast is boring. Restaurant is too expensive. We had ordered "Seafood Delight" for 2, cost us over 2 million (and we had to book one day before to get it??!!) but to be honest it's not worth at all, i mean AT ALL. If you want to eat seafood, you can take a taxi to those restaurant by the beach in 5min, way better and cheaper (we paid 1 million for a big feast). Never oder seafood in the resort restaurant!

We arrived here after booking on the same day through hotels.com.
There were not many reviews, but after we arrived we realised that this was certainly only because the resort just opened 2 months ago. It is beautiful! The whole resort is very charmingly designed and everything is kept very clean every day. The food is good and there are a lot of choices, even great italian food in case you feel like something european sometime.
The staff is exceptional friendly but you will need to be a bit patient with their english skills.
We had a lovely 3 night stay and would recommend this place for sure!

Room Tip: the bungalow is very spacious and pretty!

The hotel:
Beautiful! Everything is perfect. There are trees with bananas, beautiful flowers. The beach is quiet. Muine main street is 10 minutes drive from the hotel, 50 000 dong / 2,5$.
The room:
We stayed four nights in a really amazing bungalow. It had a rainfall shower, separate bath tube, balcony and beautiful interior.
Breakfast was good. We had freshly made omelette, fried eggs, pancakes etc and a lot of different fresh fruits. We ate dinner once at the resort and it was delicious and well put together.
The staff are incredible! They make a lot of effort.
The receptionist at the spa welcomed us with hot tea. We had 60minutes body scrub and 30minutes back massage. Very professional. The jacuzzi were freezing cold, which suited well after sauna and steam bath.
Fitness room:
All fitness equipment were brand new. Each time we went there the air condition was off, and they spent 15 minutes putting it on. The problem was with finding someone who could operate the remote. We were soaked in sweat when we were finished with our workout.
