As I am a History Lover ... when I stand amongst these tanks I wonder all the time how did they build them ... and who built them ?
since the Real builder of these Tanks seems to be unknown ....
I really like them and hope from the Government to take more actions to improve this Historic Location.

“A visit that was not”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

We rode up to what could have been the highlight of our tour to Aden but it was not to be. With hardly any tourists venturing into what is quite an unstable country, it was not surprising that the guard who could have let us inside the Tawilah Tanks enclosure was not to be found. There was a chain and a lock on the gate; we waited and inquired from nearby people but was told that he is not always present. So we left disappointed for having come so far and still having failed to view this great 2000 year old attraction

I remember about Saharij Aden which called Tawilah Tanks Creter it's maybe look old and not being taking care of in in the wai it deserves but it will tell a story about how amazing minds who built such tanks and trying their best to take advantage of the resources of mother nature that time
