i stayed Bedouin in 2011 . Staff helpfull and smiley face . Reception guy can talk good english but the other staff can't talk. But this is not problem , they have english menu in their restaurant. Food nice price and tasty. Hotel 20 metres to beach. From hotel to Aqaba city center 7-10 minutes by taxi and price was normal. Room was clean and big. Also bathroom was very clean. Nice price and wonderfull accommodation for budget traveler.

We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed it a lot! Ronnie and all the other staff were really friendly and helpful. The place is laid back, the food was excellent... The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable... When we went for a trip to Aqaba, we were even happier to return the Bedouin Moon Village :) You have everything you need in one place... Highly recommended! We are definitely coming back when we go to Jordan again.

Swimming pool, lovely room and good food. The service from the restaurant was really good too. There are comfy seating areas around the pool too.
The attached snorkling place was friendly and helpful with an English chap who was very helpful.
You can snorkel from the beach on the other side of the road
Top tip. Follow the rope on the left side out and the better reef is at the end when you turn right. There is a map of reefs on the wall at the scuba shop. I think this reef is area 9.

It's 5Dr for a taxi into town or 0.5Dr for the bus that comes at about quarter to the hour. However we as a family rode the taxi into town for 2Dr when we told the driver (truthfully) that we were waiting for the bus.

This accomodation is being revamped. We'd agreed to 40Dr a night for the accomodation when booked in November 2011. It look a firm stand to insist that this was the contracted price as now 60 Dr for a family room. However with the breakfasts at 1.5Dr this is still excellent value

This hotel gives you the "flavour" of Jordanian hospitality. The staff are
welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and
memorable. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we had more time
to stay for longer. The rooms are small but have everything you need
especially quiet AC and they serve wine and beer. The last night
we were serenaded by wonderful Jordanian musicians and the food
is the best we have had in Jordan. This was the best value for money and
made the ending of our trip to Jordan unforgettable.

Room Tip: If you need to have a TV just let them know , all the rooms do not have one.

10 km south of Aqaba, 4 - 5 JOD in a taxi, 1 km north of the horrible Tala Bay. 100 m from the sandy and empty public beach. Neighbour to two other "village/bungalow hotels" but by far the most charming one. In the middle of nothing but sand!
Sort of a back-packer hotel, a bit over the hill, very relaxed. We had a large, clean and cool room. With A/C, a new TV and hot water.
The staff is of another world! We just love them all. Ahmed, the Egyptian waiter who hadn't been back home for 6 years, Ronny the caretaker with his funny hat, saying "actually" all the time, the grumpy chain-smoking old bar man (in fact he is very charming and talkative), the charming Canadian lady working on ther home page. They all did the their utmost to make us feel at home.
The food is very good, the breakfast quite OK. The bear cold, the wine tasty. For some reason we did not pay for all of it!
The sea, snorkeling/diving almost as good as at Dahab on Sinai.
It is a very quiet place. For some reason we were almost the only guests. Very quiet in Aqaba as well: The problems in Syria??
Read the review of Jason S! We agree 100%
We only left because we had a plane to catch!
Married Danish couple aged 66 and 67.

Room Tip: The ones to the left of the pool, up against the cliff, below the campsite. They are cool.
