“Convenient, welcoming, good food Hotel in Aqaba”
Reviewed 19 November 2011

This was just an overnight stop for us, so we didn't need much. However, we were really pleased with the welcome we received. It's a convenient hotel for "downtown", with easy access to the beach and local shops. The food was good, and good value, and eaten in the entrance lobby, so partially outdoors.

Room Tip: Sea View is good, although the view has to be over the top of the next door ugly building

The hotel is well-located, within sight of the marina, and a short walk from the main shopping areas. The rooms were comfortable, but did not provide tea-making facilities nor free Wifi. Getting Wifi connectivity on payment was complicated. The breakfast buffet was good and provided ample choice.

Cleanliness:
The hotel is well maintained. No issues that I saw.

Location:
I would say this is the best quality of this hotel. Minutes away from the beach and tourist spots, and the trendy cafes and people-watching spots at night.

Room:
Decent size, with a modern feel. Our shower was really small though. It was difficult to maneuver around in there. The air conditioner worked fine, which is a necessity.

Service:
The staff is young and friendly. Some of the people we asked for advice did not speak English too well, however. Be prepared to just pick up a map and explore the city. The wifi is pretty expensive here too (if I remember, 10 or 15JD a day). Its also lobby-only, which was an inconvenience. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant and it was excellent.

Really nice hotel, centrally located with plenty of shops and facilities nearby and only a short walk from the Corniche. Public areas very nice and there's a nice little sunny pool. Rooms were very nice and we even got our request of a sea view. Staff very pleasant and were very gracious when we accidentally turned up for breakfast half an hour early on the morning we had to leave. Also had a free shuttle bus to the Roya Diving Club for the beach and water sports.

This is a great little hotel. Located right in the heart of Aqaba and near a selection of shops and restaurants, it's within an easy walk to the water. Rooms are "petite" but have all the necessary elements - air-con, safe, TV (never use it but some do) and a decent bathroom. The room was kept clean and tidy as well.

The hotel has wi-fi but you have to pay (it's free over the road in a couple of restaurants) and the breakfast was decent. If we had a minor worry it was that the hotel is dry (no alcohol in the bar or attached restaurant) but you can shop a few doors up and there is a fridge in the room.

If we ever go back to Aqaba, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is located in the heart of Aqaba, near shopping area and the sea. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with every comfort. Sometimes the bathroom was smelling bad, but this is common in Jordan. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is nice and generous. Only problem, the wi-fi is not free of charge, and they charge you alot for it.
