My husband and I stayed here for one night during a trip round Japan. We paid ¥8,180/night for an en suite double room (12m²) including tax and breakfast.
The Super Hotel chain offer basic, budget rooms. For some reason you get a single bunk above the double bed. Our room also featured a fridge, desk and LAN internet access. As to be expected the room was very small, as was the bathroom (which was modular style ie all one unit). Less expected was the fact that our room overlooked some kind of narrow inner courtyard so we had virtually no daylight in our room. We stayed in another Super Hotel later on our trip, which had bigger rooms (and daylight!)
The hotel was located close to the station (about five minutes’ walk). The included breakfast was a buffet of both Japanese and Western options (fairly basic though - salad, rice, breads etc; also there was no fruit juice - only squash).
A nice touch is the selection of pillows in reception you can choose from; if you do want to have one of these in addition to the ones in your room, grab one as soon as you check in as they do all get taken quite quickly.
For the price this was an OK place to stay -- if you just want somewhere clean and functional to sleep for one night, it's more than adequate. I wouldn't suggest staying here more than one night though, not least because even if you're here for several nights you have no access to your room between 10.00am and 3.00pm.
Nagoya itself is not a great tourist destination. We stayed here to break our journey, and took the opportunity to visit the castle in nearby Inuyama.
