As a single traveller I am very happy with this hotel, Check in check out is quick, location is perfect; just few minues from the Nagoya station (the Hotel is very easy to be spotted from the JR Nagoya Station), very cost effective for this location, Lawson convinent store near by. The room is small but it is definitely good enough.

Amount of night spent: 2 Nights (No breakfast)

Location: The hotel is quite accessible and really easy to find; only about 10 minutes walk from the JR Nagoya Station, you can even see it although night falls (the building is yellow, yes, very catching indeed.) There's also a convenient store (Lawson) near the hotel.

Front: The hotel staffs can communicate in English so language is not a problem.

The room: I stayed at a non-smoking single bed which I find it pretty comfortable and convenient. Although the room is quite small (yes, its a business hotel), it has got everything you need; a bath tub with shower curtain, hair-dryer, soft bed, and many more.

Overall: I am reasonably satisfied with the Chisun Inn Nagoya (I travelled alone, its quite safe).

I've stayed in this hotel on 3 different trips to Nagoya. This is my go-to hotel if I need to be near Nagoya station (i use another hotel for the Sakae area). Its convenient, right by the station, convenience stores, restaurants, the highway bus stops, and its cheap. Its very easy to find as well. Since its a round shaped building the rooms are tiny due to the angled walls. I live and travel around Japan so I am used to the small rooms here but this place really is tiny. However the rooms are clean and functional enough for the 1-3 days that I usually stay. I stay in a lot of the Chisun brand hotels, and this one is as good as the others.

The location ain't that bad. Exit thru Taiko-dori and cross the street at the traffic light, walk past Bic Camera and when you see Lawson, turn to the left at the traffic light. There's a Sukiya restaurant beside the hotel. Hotel entrance is on the left side of the restaurant. The room is small but it's bearable for single use. And the rate is very reasonable too, considering the location of the hotel is within walking distance to the train station.

I would most definitely stay here again if I revisit Nagoya in the future.

stayed here for a 2day 1 night stopover in Nagoya 2 weeks ago.
it's about 5mins walking distance from the train station shopping center underpass. (You can get to the JR train station from this underpass, which has shops and dining places). There are 2 convenience stores around 100m walking distance from the hotel. You wouldn't miss the hotel; its yellow, big and round.

the lobby is considered small for me. I don't think the staff at the reception speaks much English so communication was kept to the minimal (greetings, smiling etc). The hotel rooms corridor is all circular, which i though was rather odd. The room is small and i'm glad i booked a twin bed, even with twin beds, which is the bigger option, there isn't much space to open up your luggage. TV was also in an odd location, it's next to your head position on the bed so you really have to sit up on your bed to watch tv. No English channels by the way.
Kettle, cups and tea bags were provided. Japanese PJ are also provided.

The bathroom is very small as well. we didn't bother shutting the door. Despite this, there's a bidet, many amenities (toothbrush, comb, razor, cotton) and there's large bottles of shampoo, body soap and conditioner so you don't have to worry about running out.

I think for a few night stays this hotel will be alright but don't expect to come back to a cozy room. I must say the beds in Japan are much harder for my liking and so are the pillows.
