Perfect location being right next to the JR station and the top of the main street, comfortable and clean. The added bonus of an Onsen plus massage services make this an extremely well priced hotel.

Reception staff offered friendly advice on where to eat dinner (Hanagocoro, AMAZING food) and were curtious and polite.

My only gripe is that I couldn't figure out how to turn on the television, but in the end you shouldn't be watching tv while in Otaru anyway.

We stayed 3 nights in this great hotel. Located right by the train station, close to supermarkets and so on. The service was absolutely amazing, the hotel was spotlessly clean, but the best thing of all was the beautiful "hot spring" baths. Our room was smallish, but enough for two people, and very cosy. One of our best hotel stays in all of Japan.

This hotel is small and cosy. The hotel facilities are very new and it has indoor and outdoor hot spring. What impressed me is their breakfast and free ramen from 9pm to 10pm. The hotel is only one min walk from the Otaru JR station, but, if you need to go to the main tourist places in Otaru, you may need to take a taxi especially during winter.

The hotel is right across the otaru station. Hotel staff are friendly and they allowed us to have an early check-in as we arrived around 12 pm (official check-in is 3 pm). Room is spacious but the toilet is a bit small. The hotel also offers free hotspring bath and free ramen at night. Hotel breakfast is great with free flow of sashimi. Nice add-on!

This was one of the cheapest that we paid - SGD 60 per nite per pax compared to all our other nite stays (average SGD100) but I wld say this has been the most pleasant hotel (after Dai-ichi in Nobo for it's impressive hot bath) in our 11 day stay in Hokkaido. They even had a very nice 4-pool hot bath for the ladies for that price!! The rooms may be small but u can always pay more for a bigger size. But they really planned the layout very well. In summary, everything was almost new, the rooms were well maintained, well equipped and clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and it's just 2 streets away from a well known Japanese restaurant that serves the best grilled lamb (sapporo bier garten style) only much better and cheaper!!!
