The Nikko Narita is always a welcomed place for me. I get it free with my flight, it is a great way to break up a long trip and I always appreciate that it is clean, friendly and has all I need. It is by no means 5 star, but it is comfortable and it makes me happy simply to think that I can land there when I am in transition.
The Serena restaurant is also a nice addition to the hotel. The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive, being vegetarian, the selection is limited but still offers me a very satisfying meal before continuing on my next flight.
I also like that there is a bus service that takes me around town and to the Narita Temples which is a must see if you have the time. It is only a 10 min ride away by courtesy shuttle.
So all in all, the Nikko Narita is a place I would recommend to anyone. It is a way point transfer type of hotel and it certainly makes me feel welcomed and comfortable when ever I am there.
