“Nice budget hotel”
Reviewed 11 July 2014 via mobile

Comfort hotel is situated very near to the train station narita. Stayed there few years ago, the rooms are very small but that,s everywhere in Japan in budget hotels. The washroom is small but contains almost everything. The hotel is meant mainly for travelers who are tranisiting from narita airport and want something near by in small budget.

I think this is just a normal hotel near Narita airport. It doesn't have shuttle to anywhere, but it is 5 minutes of walking to the nearest train to Narita airport. Something worth to mention is that their breakfast is surely something good (for free). For this price, everything you got is gooood here.

This hotel has not changed, it is still clean, comfortable, and offers free wifi, a small fridge, flat screen TV (no English), complimentary breakfast, decent variety, some Western food and some Asian food, it's enough to get you going in the morning. The rooms are very small, if two are sharing you will be hard pressed to find much free area in the room. The bathroom very tidy, perfectly clean and very small. There are also other amenities like a robe, slippers, toothbrush and tooth past, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer. The staff is friendly and helpful, but limited in English. There is also a computer and printer in the lobby. If you come from the airport to the hotel by train, and take the Keisei Line for 250 yen, their station in Narita is the closest to the hotel. When you exit the train and are still in the station, look for the stairs to the right, don't go out of the station onto the main street. Take the stairs down to street level, look to the left across the street and you will see the hotel.

This is our second pick for a short Narita layover. It is a bit more expensive than the Mecure but a nicer hotel, being younger than the Mecure in Narita. The place is right outside the exit from the Metro (one stop from the the Airport, Narita city). There are two exit from the Metro, you know you have the right one if it opens out to a bunch of tall building and NOT a Taxi stand, bus stop and shops. The hotel is not easy to locate but I assure you it is no more than across the street to the left. It is next to the Richmond Hotel with the APA to the immediate left of the exit stairs. It is tucked way just to the right of the Richmond Hotel.

This is an hotel accessible from an easy 3 minutes short walk via JR Narita train station south exit. And from this station is only 10 minutes away to the airport. Rooms are standard (cozy) size of Japanese business hotels that you can expect to. However, you still have everything you need in the room. Free coffee in check-in area until midnight, free wifi as well. Breakfast is also standard contents in this hotel chain across the country, which contains both western and Japanese styles you can choose from. There is also a Lawson convenient store right outside the hotel entrance. Overall it's a good stay for a good price!

We stayed in a twin room after arriving NRT in the evening. We took Keisei train for one stop. Instead of taking the easy and quick access to the hotel by walking down many steps with luggage we took a route that took a little more time but easy way to the hotel. The hotel is right in front of Narita Station. There are a few convenience stores and restaurants around. The hotel's lobby is on the second floor with a free service of coffee, internet and a space for breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and bright. The check in and out was quick and easy and the front desk staff was very polite, helpful and pleasant. The room has a small closet, a mini fridge and a set for tea. The bathroom was not large but very clean and was provided with good amenities. The bed was comfortable. I especially liked the pillow and a light and fluffy cover. The free breakfast with several different rice balls, inari sushi, rolls, scrambled eggs, sausages, potato salad, green salad, fruits, yogurt and two types of soups was delicious. We think we hit a homerun with this hotel for the price (we paid 8000 yen). We liked everything about the hotel and we will definitely stay here next time.

Stayed one night in this hotel after arriving in Narita around early evening. Hotel within walking distance to both Keisei-Narita station and Narita station (JR). As a matter of fact, there is a walkway you can take from Keisei-Narita which goes right over the busy street, and in just a few steps down; you're at the front entrance of the hotel. You can also take the same path back to get to Narita station or Keisei-Narita. Be prepared to climb down a long flight of stairs immediately from the station; going up is easier as there is an escalator.

Unlike the other reviews in which other travelers say the front desk couldn't speak English; I found they spoke acceptable English. It's not the best but they speak just enough to get you checked in. Just talk slow and to the point. The room was small as is to be expected in Asian countries. My family had two rooms with two single beds. If you don't smoke, make sure you get a room with non-smoking. The bed may feel like sleeping on a rock, but I slept comfortably enough. The bathroom is small. Internet is free and comes with Wi-Fi. Breakfast was very good with choices for both Western and Japanese standards. Staff will greet you with good morning, in Japanese. Room, together with taxes, only costs about $ 85 USD (depending on currency exchange rates). For what you get, this hotel offers very good value for a rather expensive country. Next door, Richmond hotel, may offer good rates and # 1 on tripadvisor, but requires you to pay for breakfast. Comfort Hotel's breakfast is part of your room rate.

Room Tip: Windows can be open slightly for ventilation.
