Don't recommend, toilet is old and water stains on the wall. Need renovation badly considering this is spg group standard don't really match up to the rest I been to. Service ok. Convenient, other hotel in the area can match up. Overall bad experience.

Our group were four adults and three kids (two 4 years old and one 2 1/2 year old). We were at this Sheraton grande Tokyo bay hotel twice (Sep 13 and Apr 14) for the Disney trips. The reason was the location. If your trip to Tokyo consisted of the visit to Disney as a priority then this should do you good. The hotel packed with standard Sheraton facilities plus hotel hot spring (technically it is a hot bath as water is not from hot spring) but still good for a long day, mini golf, and Game Center next to the laundromat ( good way to kill time while waiting). So for an extended stay like four or five days there then going to other cities, it was convenience to do laundry for kids and thus pack light for the trip.

Great breakfast buffet and dinner, but a visit to the near by mall (Ikspiari, resort gateway station) could save a bit of the money. In the Ikspiari, there were many shops, restaurants, fast foods, and super market, but one restaurant that I recommend would be the Tsukiji Tamazushi Maihama Ikspiari, for fresh sushi and great Japanese dishes. Long queue can be expected so reservation will be good idea. Disney Monorail station was about 5 minutes walking distant and the Maihama station can link you to places in Tokyo and Odaiba (for shopping). A visit to Ooedo-onsen-monogatari (theme park natural hot spring) in Odaiba can be rewarded.

The hotel also has ticket counter for the two parks, Disneyland and Disneysea so it is convenience. There is also Disney store for last minutes shopping.

Tips:
1. Buy park ticket at hotel to save time at the park counter, it is same price.
2. Check park opening time as it can be difference from seasons.
3. Agoda booking can be a good rate but may not include breakfast (I knew) nor complimentary host bath ticket (didn't know so fee applied for usage).
4. Japanese Disney store will lighten your wallet with quality and cute products, it does always;)
5. If you plan to use taxi from and to airport with many people, have the hotel call taxi van to save money it is about same cost as regular taxi. We paid for two cabs on the first trip. The last one, we used taxi van.

We visited Tokyo Disneyland for 2 days and it was very convenient staying in this hotel, for it was located nearby within walking distance. Going to other places of interest was also easy. We went to Tokyo Sky Tree by bus from the bus station. This hotel has Disney store for those still want to shop at last minute.

This hotel is about one stop away from Tokyou Disneyland using the monorail (which is a quick shuttle to the station). Its quiet and big, however if your looking to see Disney characters in the hotel then you should choose one of the Disney Hotels.

The food was average and for some reason we had to take our breakfast in the small buffet in the reception floor. The staff were friendly and nice and you can actually buy the tickets from the hotel.

We chose the Japanese suite rooms, i highly recommend it for a different experience, the sleep quality was actually good. The room is beautiful however it really is in need of some major upgrading especially the bathroom and its accessories.

What i didn't like about this hotel is that the wifi was only available in the reception area! if your staying for one or two nights then its fine. However for people waiting on important emails or your social media fix then this might be a problem.

The hotel has a nice area where kids can watch tv and play video games which is located near the reception. The staff are friendly and helpful and if you want a good hotel in the resort and don't mind the mono rail trips then this should be ok for you.

Room Tip: japanese suite rooms

We really appreciate your review in various aspects of our services. Comments and suggestions from our guests are very important for us to make our services even better. We’re happy to learn that our staff, the comfort of the Japanese Suite Room made your stay enjoyable. The internet Wi-Fi connection service is available in our guestrooms, but it is chargeable except Club Level Rooms, and also we’ll remodel our guestrooms including Japanese Suite pretty soon. We hope you will come back and enjoy your stay with us on your next visit to Tokyo Disney Resort.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip to Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea. Highly recommend the Club lounge access package. The room itself was relatively basic but perfectly clean and functional, but the real perk was the club access. Check-in at the lounge was a breeze- no waiting in long lines. The breakfast buffet upstairs was fantastic- a large spread of both Japanese and Western dishes. If you just want a quick breakfast before heading out, the lounge itself was perfect. And in the evening when we returned from the parks, having drinks and heavy appetizers in the lounge was a perfect way to end the day (and enough to make a meal).

The grounds (particularly the outdoor pool, chapel, garden) were lovely and peaceful. We spent some time at the pools (outdoor and indoor) and this was a great experience in the summer. Our child loved it and there are enough shallow areas to splash around in. It's an additional cost, but well worth it on a hot summer day. Our child also spent some time in the play area and it was a good way to burn off some energy before the bus ride back to Narita.

We would stay again if we were ever back at Disney.

We found it hard as a family of 2 adults and 3 children to find decent accommodation - although you cannot book online one room for 5 people (as their system doesn't allow it) I had heard from friends that we could all fit in one room, so I booked online for 1 room only. The room was great and spacious, unusual for Tokyo. We had 2 double beds and 2 singles - perfect!!

Be aware - there is no ATM at this hotel which is a problem if you are staying during the weekend as the there is no ATM either at Disneyland!! cash up before you stay!!

We were bumped from a flight, and put up there. The property is very nice. The AC was not self adjustable, but when we had them adjust it, the room went from cold to warm and stuffy. The room was a smoking room, and smelled like it was just smoked in.
