Was there for a business trip and chose the hotel due to its location and room size. Although it wasn't cheap by any means, it was probably a good deal by Yokohama standards.
It is located just above a shopping mall so that is a huge plus, and it is a stone's throw away from the Sakuragicho JR station and the Minatomirai subway station. Front counter is actually pretty small so you might have to be prepared to wait awhile if there is a crowd (generally 2 staffs manning the counter). The staffs do speak basic amount of English so that shouldn't be a problem.
Will stay there again in future with similar budget.

hotel is 2 train stops from yokohama station. taking a cab cost 1400yen. the hotel lobby is not on ground floor. the main entrance is at side at easily missed. hotel staff told us internet is inclusive but could not connect. cost 16500 yen a night and breakfast is inclusive. the spread is good and hotel guests are mainly japanese. there is a lawson downstairs and two levels of restaurants in the mall downstairs. a cinema is also located here.

It can be a little hard to find the entrance to the hotel initially if you come from the train station - but once you're in - you'll soon work out how great the location is.

It's only 2 minutes walk from Sakuragicho station - from where you can easily and quickly grab a train to go a couple of stops to central Yokohama (actually it's not too far a level walk there too if you are energetic - and for the guys there's a Super AutoBacs along the way to stop off at for an hour or so :))

Straight across the road (across the overbridge actually) you have an easy covered walk to the great shopping precincts of Landmark Tower, Queens Square and the Red Brick Warehouse district. There's plethora of shopping and food options at your door step between these local places and 2 stops up to central Yokohama (there's really no need to visit Tokyo for shopping if you don't have time on your trip - Yokohama has all the same options including Yodabashi and Super AutoBacs for the men.

The rooms were large for Japan/Yokohama - spotlessly clean and ours had a great view over the water and waterfront entertainment area. We only ate breakfast there - but the spread was varied and tasty - I'd come back here any time.

Only comment would be - a couple of English language TV station options would help and make this perfect for foreign visitors , but for couples this is only a minor thing (might be worse with kids).

I stayed at this hotel but for a short business trip to Japan. This hotel is very conveniently located near to train station and other connectivity through bus as well. Also, it is right opposite to Yokohama landmark tower which offers a great view from 69th floor in the night. Only bad part was that they dont have wifi in hotel and offer only high speed internet through LAN which forced to make my laptop a hotspot eveytime i want to use ipad or iphone. Breakfast is very nice and rich in variety. Overall i would recommend this hotel.
