There are two Daiwa Roynet hotels in Yokohama - we stayed in this Kannai one for a night, which is a short <5 mins walk from the JR Kannai station, about 15 mins to the famed Chinatown, and approx 25 mins to the Yokohama Bay area (didn't feel like a long walk for us during winter). While the hotel is neither great nor bad, at ¥5000 a night per person for a single room (no meal plan) and the usual amenities offered by Japan hotels (e.g. free wifi throughout the hotel, air humidifer/purifier in the room, double bed etc), this place was quite a steal. Many pachinko shops around the hotel though. We passed by the other Daiwa Roynet Yokohama Koen which looked more upmarket, but I think the Kannai one probably has slightly better location.
