“Nice stuff from around the world but not so great”

I only go here when my wife wants to have a look in the place. They have a decent bakery near the entrance from the Cosmo World side and you can buy some nice wines and beer from around the world. The prices are a bit steep, however. This is a place for women to shop

“Great mall with plenty of restaurants”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 January 2012

I stayed at the Navios Yokohama hotel opposite the World Porters Mall, and I can highly recommend this mall, especially to travelers from Europe and the US.

Take the elevator to the top of the building and make you way down, and you'll see:
On the roof of the mall is a mini golf course, plus there is a nice view - I recommend going to the top of the Landmark building for an excellent view)
I believe the 6th floor is mainly administrative offices, so go to the 5th where you'll find several outstanding restaurants. There is Italian style, a Mexican, an American burger joint, an Indonesian, a buffet restaurant, plus a very interesting Egg-Benedict restaurant.
On the 5th floor is also a movie theater with some movies in English (Japanese sub titles)

The 4th, 3rd and 2nd floor have shops. 4th is mainly interior decorating, 3rd is clothing, 2nd is gifts, and shoes. On the 2nd floor is also a walk bridge that takes you to the Navios hotel.

On the ground floor are more restaurants, a Starbucks, Cold Stone Creamery, McDonalds, a food court with many Asian style dishes, plus you'll find a large grocery store, which also sells alcohol. Try restaurant 'Sweets" where they have quite the desert buffet!
Near the grovery store are several souvenir/gift shops with items from Yokohama, which is mainly cookies and chocolates. But those who like to try unusual Kit Kat flavours, will find some cool ones (Wasabi flavored, Green Tea, Cheese cake, Tofu, Jasmin)

The only negative about this mall is, that it does not open until 10 - 10.30, including access to Starbucks. So if you want an early cup of java, you have to walk to the Queen Square (Landmark Tower) area where there are 2 (open at 7am)
Mc Donalds is open early because they have access from the sidewalk, and they serve coffee... but I'd rather swim with sharks than go to a McD.
