“There seem to be places like this everywhere”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

It seemed pretty generic to me. Shops selling tings you don't need or want. An hour wait for Bill's restaurant. The high point was the dance festival that happened to be on. A nice walk along teh water front to get there but nothing special

“great shops in historic location”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

These are historic buildings from the time when Yokohama was the gateway to Japan from the outside world. There are very characterful shops which are particularly good for souvenir hunting. You can also get food and drinks. They sometimes have 'events' here, though more for locals than tourists. There are gardens and a pier nearby.

“Great view”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

We went to the top floor and had dinner and a beer overlooking the Ferris wheel and the lights of Yokohama. Nice place with a few high end knick knack shops. I would probably go there for a meal and the view mostly.

“Nice Area”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

I have been here many times for the many different events in the midway area (Oktoberfest, FRÜHLINGSFEST, Christmas Celebration and Ice Skating). There are many little shops inside and a few restaurants. It has a nice view of the bay. It is worth a visit.
