Easy access from train and buses but not much to hotel itself. Crappy restraunt, no pool, no gym. Near a mall with eating g options. Not a good hotel for relqxing. Good for biz visits only. No English TV stations. Would look elsewhere if going back. Staff friendly. Generally clean although dated.

Unlike some hotels I've visited in Japan, the room was quite spacious with basic necessities. Bed was super comfortable, bathroom was clean and maintained. Also great customer service.
The only drawback for its room is the noise. I can clearly hear what's going on upstairs.

However, before my trip, there was a systematic error from its website. When I called . the girl from front desk told me, " Sorry but I don't speak English....."
I was then transfered to another guy who actually spoke poor English and told me, " Sorry, but I do not see your reservation, please call later."

I wrote to the hotel at kwg-frt@princehotels.co.jp (according to their official website, it's the only way to write to them.)
Sure enough10 days later, still no one replies me at all.

Will I return? Definitely not.

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were in transit from southern to northern Japan.

We walked into a very smart and huge reception area that whetted the appetite - and then - oh dear!

The room was spacious by Japanese standards but it was appalling, cigarette burns in the carpet and on the furniture, food crumbs liberally dispersed under the bed etc. The room was also south facing and there was a note to keep the curtains closed to avoid the room over heating. This advice didn't help much and the room became very, very, hot by the end of the day - and because it was early April - the air conditioning was turned off.

Could we have the air conditioning turned on please? ''no it's April, we can give you a fan''. Oh good - so we can move the hot air about then. What difference will that make?
After several hours of tooing and froing, to their credit, they did eventually turn the AC on.

The staff were very polite and attentive for our few nights stay but it would seem that they could do with a change of senior managers. It's not worth booking until the company understands the needs of tourists.

Other than that, the hotel was well located, a road crossing away, from the main shopping and dining road.

Room tip: Book another hotel

Stayed here on business. Room was comfortable and clean. The furnishings were a little dated. The lamp shades look like some sort of art deco theme. The bed was comfortable. The TV had only Japanese language channels. Wi-Fi was good.
I stayed on the 9th floor. No problem with street noise. The restaurant was on the 9th floor too. American breakfast fare was good enough. A chef will make an omelet for you, slightly under cooked. Coffee out of the brewing machine was good too. Staff was very friendly.
Food and shopping were in short walking distance.

You can reach this hotel from Haneda Airport via Airport Limousine bus. The hotel is immediately seen from the Hon Kawagoe bus station. The hotel is generally OK. Rooms are well kept and more spacious. There are a bunch of food choices around the area. Will definitely book when I'm back in Kawagoe.
