This new museum housing some important bonsai artworks is well worth a visit if in Omiya. A lot of money was spent by the city to procure the exhibition trees and to build this state of the art museum. It is impeccably neat and tidy. The displays give one a good understanding of the art of displaying bonsai. These displays also change so if you have been once you will most likely not see the same display the 2nd time. I am not quite sure why they do not allow photography in some areas outside the museum, but as they have a wonderful guide you should just get that as it also has a lot more information about bonsai in it. I would definitely go again.
