We had a wonderful moment in this small restaurant.
The food is very tasty and the service is just perfect.
This is one of our best surprises during our two weeks stay in Japan.

Absolutely delicious and generous ! The owner works there alone and is very kind (speaks a little bit of English and menus are in English so no problem). We had a lovely evening and even had the chance to meet very friendly Japanese people. The okonomyakis are absolutely delicious, the best we had during our stay !

Although a fair way from the main attractions at Nara, this is actually very close to the JR station and is a perfect spot to end the day if you need to head back to another city.
It's quiet and the owner clearly cares about good food and good service. There's a hot plate on the table to keep the okononiyaki warm while you eat it, and she routinely checked in with advice on how to best enjoy it (despite my best efforts, I wasn't the neatest at eating this!)
Would highly recommend if you're closer to the JR station and in want of a meal.

Amazing little gem I found thanks to tripadvisor - go there before it loses its charm!
The restaurant is very small so it fills in quite easily, perhaps better to visit for a later-than-standard lunch! Kazumi cooks okonomiyaki in her own style and she serves them on a piping hot grill in your table so it keeps hot throughout your meal. It was delicious and a bargain (only 850 yen!). We had a great chat because it was very quiet when I went, and she is very kindhearted. Couldn’t have been happier with my choice on that day!

I love okonomiyaki and I loved this unassuming place. It’s small as is the menu but the food is to die for. Its owner has a big generous heart and was very kind and patient with our orders. The other guests lived nearby and declared this was their favourite eating place.
