“Clean, simple, well located business hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 February 2014

Clean, simple business hotel. Small rooms, as is expected from Japanese business hotels. Located near train station, which was very convenient, but did make the room a little noisy, especially at night time. Easy to walk to most of main touristy areas (about 10-20 minutes to most locations).

Not Bad hotel rooms are a bit small but very convient and alot of open parking in the area also close to train and bus station and also they have a hot springs in the basement of the hotel. I would recomend this hotel for the business traveller but not for a family setting.

I stayed this hotel for a night during the Int'l Film Festival in Fukuoka in 2013. The movie theaters are located at the Canal City, which is about seven minutes’ bus ride from the bus stop "A" in front of the Hakata Station. This means it is about fifteen minutes from this hotel, which was very useful for me to walk around the city. I stayed at a single room with unit-style bath which is typical to Japanese business hotels but a little bit larger than old ones – this hotel is just seven years old. Breakfast is served at the second floor café & bar for 800 yen per person. It is typical Japanese – continental buffet style breakfast – rice, bread, miso soup, baked fish, simmered vegetables, boiled eggs, sausages, etc. I liked it. Another attractive thing I made much use of is a café on the ground floor. There are Starbucks, Tully’s, and Doutor coffee shops near the Hakata Station, all of which are almost always busy. That cafe, however, is nicely sitting behind the Bus Terminal Building and perhaps because of this it was not busy very much – so it was a good place to take a rest and plan for the next destination.

Room Tip: Rooms facing JR lines have good view of beautiful trains including Shinkansen.

Wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. It is very conveniently located within minutes from the Hakata Station. We took the train, subway and bus from the station to various places that we wanted to visit. Very very convenient.

The rooms are small but clean. They also have complimentary shaving razors, toilet articles etc available, which was a big help to me. I did not have to go out and buy those for a few nights.

We ate one night at the attached restaurant, and liked the food there too. Overall, a very nice experience and I recommend it.

This hotel is close to Hakata Station, so it is very convenient for travel, shopping, food. I stayed on the 14th floor, which is the "ladies floor". The laundry facilities were also on this floor, which made me wonder if men are not allowed to use the laundry.

The rooms are small; Japanese business-hotel size. There is a public bath area, but I did not get a chance to use that. Unlike many business hotels, breakfast was not included in my rate. LAN is available in the rooms.

This is a good choice is you want to be near Hakata Station (which itself is a quick (10-15 minutes?) subway ride from the airport). Clean rooms, no problems.

Very nice hotel, nice lobby, clean (small) rooms, and a great public bath area. Located directly across from Hakata station, with tons of restaurants and shops nearby. I stayed for 9 days on business, slept well, and had a great time every night at the hotel restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay again.
