This was our first stop as part of the Fukuoka Walks Tour. It was split into 2 separate areas. The dry zen garden was beautiful and we were able to watch a monk in training brush wave designs into the gravel- very cool to see. I liked this temple better than the Shinto shrine we visited. Located close to the temple with the pagoda and largest wooden Buddha in Japan so visit the two together
