If you like baseball or never have seen a game, this is a nice experience. The price for the tickets are ok. Price for drinks and food is expensive. The location is cool but the next train station is quite far away. Plan to take a taxi or the public bus.

Bought same day tickets. I would advise to purchase online since we had to pay more than we wanted to for the "experience" of seeing a Japanese baseball game. The Y10 seats were all sold out. The hype was the attraction! Everyone wore the Fukuoka Hawks outfits etc. the funny beer carrying people walking the aisles and the variety of food available for purchase inside! Dippin dots, shave ice, shoyu popcorn, bentos and chicken and fries! The 7th inning balloons were a sight to see. You can purchase a pack at the stands or someone came up the aisles selling it... The stadium itself is easy to reach by bus. We took a cab from canal city ($20). On game days after the game ( or after the 7th inning when we left) there were public shuttle buses that take you to Tenjin or Hakata for Y230. We exited from door 3 and they were right there. Overall the stadium is nice. The baseball game itself is a great experience.

This is located in Nishijin area. There is a Hard Rock cafe near by, unfortunately they don't have my favourite Tbone steak.
Nevertheless if there was a game here with the Softbank Hawk, you can almost dream on on getting a parking space or walk the mall with out being brushed up to other people.
Nevertheless they are very orderly.

we only saw the stadium from the out side but we looked around the area there where lots of famous peoples hands cast in bronze including Michael jacksons,we shook hands with "him " there is a giant hand statue with an eagle perched on a finger of the hand which is beautiful, just down the steps there is hard rock café, it was the most expensive one I have been in and ive been in a few! the food was not great and the service was not up to Japanese standard
