Grand hotel

It was grand. The room facilities are good and clean. Staff are helpful and nice. Many choices in breakfast and taste good.

Too many people, you’ve to wait and wait and wait to bath and have breakfast. Better to bath in room.
I was a bit disappointed with the appearance of their garden.

The location is excellent with a hidden short cut connecting the Huis Ten Bosch Park.
Rooms are a bit dated but they are clean and comfortable.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
The Japanese restaurant in the hotel provides excellent Japanese food with very competitive prices.

Room and onsen are very nice. However, service is so poor. For hotels in Japan, they don’t have bellboy. This hotel is the same but they have luggage trolley at the first floor. When I planned to check out, I needed to bring trolley to my room because I had many luggages. The lady at the first floor told me that they did not allow me to bring trolley to my room but I can call front desk and they will send someone to help me. After, I called front desk and male front desk picked up phone call. He was ok to send someone to help me. Finally, I waited for a long time but nobody came to help me. I needed to call my friend to come to my room to carry my luggage. When I stay in Japan, I have very good experience with every hotels. I was so disappointed with this hotel and will not stay here again.

First of all, thank you very much for choosing Hotel Nikko Huis Ten Bosch for your accommodation during your trip to Japan. I would also like to thank you for your precious feedback.
Reading your comment, I felt so sorry about what had happened with your request on luggage trolley while you were staying at our hotel. On behalf of Accommodation Section, I apologize for our unsatisfactory service.
Obviously, there was poor communication on our side. Since we are unable to identify the date of your stay, it is difficult to specify the persons in charge and how miscommunication occurred. However, the incident information is shared by all staff members and we will surely try hard to improve our service. We are conducting lessons to improve skills in helping guests in foreign languages.
Please let me assure you that we will be ready to serve you in a much more sophisticated way when you visit our hotel next time.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location of the hotel was great as it was just beside Huis Ten Bosch which was a great place to go for kids and family for vacation. There was a special gate to go to Huis Ten Bosch directly from the hotel. It was really very convenient. Buffet breakfast was good and delicious but there were always a lot of people and we had to queue up for quite a long time for a table. Hotel staff were polite, friendly and helpful. A great place to stay for holiday while visiting Huis Ten Bosch.

We took an early train and reached Huis Ten Bosch before noontime. Therefore, we went to the park first. Hotel Nikko is just next to the park so we went for check-in at 4pm and freshened up under an extremely hot weather. There is a shortcut (2 minutes walk) from the park to the hotel which is specially for hotel guests and you can re-enter to the park through there.

Hotel room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. There is a vending machine on each guest floor and they didn’t mark up the price as the other hotels might do it.

The service is good even the staffs work in a busy hotel. They performed very professional and polite. Really appreciated their good efforts!

The summer this year has been extraordinarily hot. We are happy to hear that our special shortcut gate helped our guest avoid a long walk between the hotel and the park through the heat.

I was worried about not speaking Japanese well, but the staffs are very patient n helpful
The room provided is much bigger then expected
Very comfy as I slept thru the night peacefully
Breakfast was convenient and ammenities are plenty
Going to Huis Ten Bosch was very easy because of their back entrance
