The pension offers rooms from 2800 Yen (2 people from 5000.- Yen) Minishuku style as well as the more expensive ones with western style beds. The location is very good for holiday makers and backpackers with limited budget. Some English is spoken by the very friendly staff.
We stayed in one of the cheapest rooms (tatami mats), even these are relatively large and very clean. Every room has an own television. The air conditioning has to be payed extra (100 yen for 4 hours), as an alternative every room is equipped with a fan (use is for free).
The cheapest rooms don't have an own bathroom/toilet, but the shared facilities are spotless clean and include bathtubs as well, but are a little bit aged.
It takes 3 minutes to the main bus station, 5 minutes to the port from where all ferrys to the other islands leave/arrive. The city centre is about 4 minutes walk away where you can find a market as well as a convinience store. A big and cheap bottle shop is just across the road. Many restaurants are close by.
The pension is dominated by a beautiful wooden interior, which creates a very cosy and appealing feeling.
Free WiFi and free drinking water in bottles are supplied. Food is not offered. In the small, but nice common area is a big television and information about possible activities are supplied.
The washing machine can be used for free. The use of the clothes dryer cost 100 yen. Bycicles are available as well.
There is a small car park possibility in front of the entrance.
We stayed here twice and would come here any time again. Thanks for the nice stay in your pension!
