Pros- Great location right at monorail and start of Kokusai dori (the major shopping road in naha. Computer in the room (i booked single room). Friendly staff, knows enough english

Cons- No private bathroom, squat toilet, single room was 8ftX8 with ust a mattress on the floor and you have to sit on the floor to use the computer.
I suppose was alright and only there for one night, if I had to do it again I would have just forked over another $20 and stayed in a real hotel

Two friends and I rented one of the rooms at the hostel. There's two kinds of places to sleep here - rooms and just beds. We got a room for three people. The room was surprisingly spacious for a hostel. Two of the beds were bunked and the other was lofted. The other type of "room" is a space just big enough for a bed with a curtain and a place to keep your stuff underneath. The location is good: there's a convenient store close by and kukosaidori is just a little walk away. There are a few fun bars close to it. The one drawback was the girl's bathroom. The shower is just a big shower room that you can lock, but sometimes people would lock the whole bathroom (ie both the shower lock AND the bathroom lock) so you had to wait until they finished showering. RUDE and not the hotel's fault. We had a little trouble finding it when we first got there, but that was mostly our error. The staff is super friendly. All in all, I'd stay there again.

I booked 3 nights here but was staying in Naha for a week. I'm glad I didn't book the whole week!
The toilets are a long walk to get to, especially in the night when you actually have to leave the hostel to go out by the elevators and then use a security code to get back in. There is only one squat toilet for the men and so sometimes you have to wait to use the toilet! There are two showers for men, but people go in and lock the bathroom so you had to wait to take a shower too.
They have free laundry, but as they were always washing the linen for the hostel, it took 2 days before i got to use that. More waiting!
The staff were helpful but not incredibly. In Japan staff are usually a lot more welcoming and friendly.
I walked around the area and found a great business hotel for the same price and so moved there.
It's an ok place, but i'd only book a couple of nights and then find somewhere else.

We needed somewhere very basic for the night and this fitted the bill. There are good restaurants and bars nearby and the staff were very helpful. It does what it says on the tin. No frills, especially if you have a 'cabin' which is like a downmarket capsule hotel, but what do you expect for this price. You have to go out the locked door at night and across the corridor to go to the toilet which is a bit disconcerting, and I don't know what it would be like if the place was full. But I would stay there again. Nice little place.
