“Sakura visit pleasant”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

We were here whilst the cherry trees were blooming. Local folks were sitting under the trees enjoying hanami even though there was a slight rain falling. We had little time and just walked on the paths enjoying the park before our return tram ride to Matsuyama. We did not have time to visit the castle ruins.

“It's okay”
Reviewed 23 May 2014 via mobile

The gardens here are nice. The castle ruins are not very exciting. If you're in the area, stop by, but don't expect much.

We were lucky to have a private tea ceremony here and that was great.

“Great if you have kids!”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

So you're in Dogo Onsen and you have a 3 year old who has seen way too much of the inside of a hotel room or train this is the park for you. The playground area here is top notch! I wish this was my local park. Lots of different slides, swings, and a sand pit. After playing there's the rest of the park to explore too!
