The hotel is close to the station, but a little bit tricky to find: When you come from the trains, over the bridge, down the escalator, through the ticket gate, turn left. You then have to walk around the bus station place. Right oposite the station exit there is a road with roofs over the pavement (left and right) - Family Mart at the beginning. Walk down that road (on the left pavement). At maybe the third or second traffic light there is a parking lot at the corner, and if you look down the road at the left, you see a hotel entrance at the right side and a bigger building down the road at the left side. The latter is the Sunroute. Remember the logo from the web site, since there is no English sign at the hotel visible from there (only the logo and Japanese). When you walk down that road a short distance you will see the entrance of the Sunroute hotel at the left , and right above the entrance there is also English letters. Just a few minutes walk, most of the way under a roof.
I stayed one night. Check in was quick. Check in staff spoke sufficient English. The room was quiet and clean, japanese Pyjama was provided. The Bathroom is the typical small one found in many Japanse budget hotels, bath amenities and hair dryer provided. The room also had a Japanese tea kettle. Sunroute is a chain found in many Japanese cities - a good choice for two people (for one person the toyoko-inns may be the better choice). I did not try breakfast - just grabbed a sandwich at the Family Mart near the station (and a Sushi box for dinner).
