One of the most beautiful places I've encountered during my travels in Africa!
Don get confused by "Robinson Crusoe" - The other restaurant on the same island. They are just using their name, but can't compare!
Robinson island is not just an amazing restaurant - set in a beautiful remote scenery - it's a hotel and a perfect place to volunteer too. Above all it's supports the surrounding community by completely sponsoring the islands school and countless environmental projects in the vicinity.
I spent two whole weeks on the island - enjoying affordable luxury chalets with huge verandas and breathtaking views, enjoyed mouthwatering seafood and amazing breakfasts, went snorkeling, helped out in school, learned a lot from the friendly host about Kenyas wildlife, environment and people - must of all I simply enjoyed the privacy of a remote and unspoiled island-pardise in the indian ocean - could have stayed forever...
