Fantastic spot and the most relaxing, beautiful bar to chill out in. Right on the beachfront. We stopped by for lunch as were flying back to Nairobi from Malindi airport. Staff are friendly, service is good and food delicious. Although we were only here for a couple of hours it was the perfect way to relax before our flight back. Seafood is delicious and wine choice very extensive. We will definitely come back here to stay soon.

The Driftwood Club Friday night buffet - poolside and close to the ocean - is delightful! There is a choice of main course which includes Tandoori Chicken, Rib-eye Steak, Prawn Skewers, Calimari, or Rock Cod. Garlic or naan bread, plus rice, potatoe and vegetables go along with the main course.

There is a nice selection of four different salads to start with. A soup of the day, and dessert bar, are also available, but at an additional cost.

The absolute highlight of the buffet is the awesome entertainer, a young woman with a velvety smooth voice. She has a great repertoire of songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s!

Driftwood restaurant is a part and parcel of the Club. The ambience is friendly, the food is good the staff is courteous. It has had its ups and downs, but theses days it is very good.
Arriving at the club, sit in the bar and have a drink. Remember: here cell phones are off! You will be greeted by the other guests and before you know it yourself you may have an interesting conversation going. Or sit at one of the tables and enjoy the sound and the view of the sea. Ask for the menu and you can pick what your heart desire, seafood (including red snapper, prawns and lobster with oysters),vegetarian or traditional restaurant food. Place the order, if you want to change a bit on the food you have ordered, e.g. you want the potato chips to be really crisp, tell the waiter and you will get it that way. When the food is ready the waiter will tell you and escort you to your table. The selection of wine is excellent. And now start enjoying the food with the waves sounding in the background and the smell of saltwater lingering in the air.

Driftwood is the British island in a very large Italian Ocean. In a town more known for the droves of Italian tourists visiting the numerous Italian owned facilities, Driftwood has retained her history and Englishness!

The restaurant has a very good selection of foods and during my visit, I ordered mini-steaks which were very well done. My friends tried the calamari and were impressed.

The ambiance is also excellent with the sea breeze making any outing pleasant.
